History
Latin American countries in eRepublik saw how they didn't grow much compared to other countries of the world. While Venezuela and Mexico were part of PEACE GC, Argentina was fighting for ATLANTIS. During the events of the Indonesian-Brazilian invasion to Argentina in December/08, ATLANTIS alliance didn't defend Argentina, who lost three of its six regions. This caused some conflict between Argentina and ATLANTIS, which led to leaving the alliance and ultimately joining PEACE GC. In the meanwhile, Chile was created and also joined PEACE GC.
A small group of remerkable citizens, T and Pier as leaders, Reina Borg from Argentina, Chuck Norris from Chile, Dhoo from Mexico, Lesmir Ledezma from Venezuela, and Benito_Camelas from the Colombian community, founded a new front to make stronger and united Hispanicamerican community and the Latin American Alliance was created (at that time called as Hispano-American Alliance).
In April of 2009, the administration of the game announced the creation of five new nations in South America: Colombia, Paraguay, Bolivia, Uruguay and Peru.
ALA was created with the objective of growing Chile, Argentina, Venezuela and Mexico stronger, starting as a sub-alliance of PEACE GC. Mexico, Chile, Venezuela and Argentina signed ALA's charter between May 27th and June 5th of 2009, creating officially the alliance.
After that, once the Brazil and Argentina war was over and the Argentinian original region of Mesopotamia was returned, Brazil requested its admission as an ALA state member, after a controversial poll Brazil become the fifth state member of ALA.
Once the administration of the game created the states of Colombia, Paraguay, Uruguay and Peru, these countries sent their representatives to the ALA. When they got a national Congress and President, the four new Latinoamerican countries requested admission to the ALA. After the debate and poll in the Security Council, by unanimity the four new Latinoamerican countries entered to become part of de Alliance as full members.
Spain started relations to join and reform the Charter against PEACE GC and Brazil, however, Brazil was already a full state member - effectively breaking the language barrier-, so Spain retired its request to join the alliance.
