AppleMan was born into the second generation of Irish Leaders. Within 3 months of birth, he was heavily involved in Irish politics. After being elected to the Dáil Éireann he was appointed Minister of Education by then president Top Gun where he worked on various projects including Ireland's first library and organised RL recruiting efforts.
During these early days, AppleMan met some of his closest in-game friends, especially Nogin the nog.
Rise to Political Power
In July 2009, AppleMan campaigned with the ISRP for and helped elect failed president Starks Hayter. In return, he was appointed as Deputy Minister of Industry where he would come to work under the minister of Finance and Industry Brian Boru. He also took over control of the ISRP and rebranded the party as the Irish Social Democrats. Over the next few months, the social and political unrest in the country began to spread. This culminated in September 2009 when Brian Boru lost the Presidential election to patton of the Irish Union Party. Instead of handing over the state assets to the new government, Boru launched the Irish coup d'état of September 2009, declaring Ireland a socialist state. While the details of the ensuing chaos are unclear it was announced that the Irish state Treasury had been robbed and the economy was in shambles. Even though some of the funds were returned it was clear that the treasury needed to be rebuilt. AppleMan was appointed co-Minister of Finance with incumbent Minister Dubhthaigh and assigned this task. Together they stabilized the Irish currency, started a citizen loan program and significantly increased the national GDP.
Country Presidency
Appleman ran for country president in November 2009 but faced stiff competition against incumbent patton and long-term political power 5n4keyes, both established players from Ireland's first generation. While he lost this campaign he gained national recognition through prolific articles and humorous photoshopped depictions of his opponents.
By early December 2009, AppleMan was widely known and was elected country president by 10 votes. This holiday term proved to be uneventful as the country had achieved relative stability and was involved in Training War with the USA. The only controversy was the selection of John Jay as Vice President and Minister of Defense. The other cabinet members were carried through incumbents from patton's term including Digits 05637716, Dubhthaigh, Pip Kelly, Edana Savage and ian arbuckle.
AppleMan took a chance on a young and very active new citizen named Sweet Drinker, giving him his first government appointment as Minister of Industry. Sweet would later go on to become one of Ireland's most successful economic minds and win multiple terms as country president.
AppleMan ran for reelection in January 2010 but was defeated by his Minister of Education Edana Savage.
AX Group
AppleMan acquired a small company org called AX Group from an outgoing player in the early summer of 2009. This company, backed by loans from wealthy friends, grew into one of the largest privately held organisations in Ireland's history. Companies within the org were branded as "Ireland's Finest" and it was an easily recognizable brand on every MG and RM market. Encompassing more than 60 companies AX Group reached its peak during the robust economy of early 2010 where it was valued at over 2500 Gold. System changes and a crumbling economy through 2011 resulted in the collapse of the group but AppleMan was able to retain some of the companies and export licenses as a private owner.
With the collapse of his companies, disgust at admin changes and general disinterest in the game AppleMan went partially inactive for over a year.
Return to the MoF
AppleMan 2-clicked and steadily participated in Congress for the majority of 2012 until October of that year when the country learned that the treasury had been stolen while under the management of president Rikian1776. Again AppleMan volunteered to help Ireland right its economic ship. He was appointed Minister of Finance by the November president Winston Hope Smith and took over a meager treasury from interim Finance Minister Nogin the nog. This appointment would establish AppleMan as one of the long-serving ministers in Ireland. In July of 2013, his appointment was continued by his old protege Sweet Drinker who had again been elected Country President. Sweet's cabinet, including AppleMan, Brian Boru as MoFA and Seanan as MoD proved one of the strongest in Irish history and would come to be known as the "Dream Team".
Military
AppleMan was a soldier in Irish Army where he served a part of his career as Second Commander.
