What are the technical requirements for playing eRepublik?

The eRepublik virtual simulator is available just online and it doesn't require any downloads. The main technical condition to benefit from eRepublik is a good Internet connection. Other minimum requirements are: Processor: speed 233MHz. Browser: new versions of Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox. Java Script option activated.

How much does eRepublik cost?

It's absolutely free to register your citizen on eRepublik and start playing. Additionally, if you ever need more Gold to start a company or a political party, you have the option to buy eRepublik Gold with real money. The cost of a 20 GOLD pack is 10 euro (all taxes included). This pack can only be bought once every 7 days.

How many accounts can be created by a single user?

A Single user can create/administer a single eRepublik account.

How can I delete an account?

To delete an account please contact us using the Contact form.

What should I do if I have forgotten my password?

On the main page of the website, under the Register section, you will find a link called "Forgot pass". Click on it and you'll be redirected to a form where you'll have to fill in your email address and we'll email you your password shortly.

Can I change my username?

Once you have chosen a username for your Citizen in eRepublik, you don't have the option to change it later. We decided that this is in order to not mislead the other eRepublik Citizens. If you really have a serious reason to change your username, please contact us. Don't forget to state your reasons why we should change it and your new username. Once we decided that your argument is a solid one, we will proceed to change it for you.

How can I post my own image to my profile?

In order to have access to your profile, you have to be logged in. Go to Your Profile and click on Your Picture. Here you'll be able to choose your photo and to upload it to the site.

How can I get a job?

The first step of getting a job is to create your Curriculum Vitae, or CV for short. Go to the main menu and choose Find a job from the Economy drop-down menu. After filling in the required fields in your CV for the first time, the option "Public CV" will be automatically checked in order for your CV be visible to the employers who are always looking for new workers. Don't be discouraged, someone will offer you a job very soon.

How can I gain points?

Being an active Citizen in eRepublik brings you points according to your activity. You can get society points, economy points, political points, military points. The more you're into the eRepublik world, the more points you gain. Owning a house or company will gain you points, belonging to a political party gains you points, how many days you worked and how many days you trained as a soldier will gain you points, soon you will get the hang of it.

How can I become a soldier?

In order to have military activity in eRepublik, you have to be a soldier. All citizens in eRepublik have the right to become soldiers, even if they are employees, General Managers, party members, Party Presidents, Congressmen or Country Presidents. The soldiers are not paid for their military activity.

How can I improve my skills?

Going to work increases your productivity skills in the industry that you work in. For the Military activity, strength is added each time your train.

How can I move to another town or country and what are the consequences?

On Your Profile page you can find the button Move to which allows you to choose the country and the city where you want to move to. You can use this option only if you have moving tickets. Moving once requires one moving ticket. Be careful that if you want to move to another country and you own a company or a party, you have to dissolve them first. Read the Tutorial to find more about the moving option.

Can I work in more than one company?

No, you can't work in more than one company. Only a General Manager is allowed to create more companies in different industries. If you are a soldier, you can work in any other domain, as a General Manager or employee.

What is "Rank"?

The Rank is used to show your position in eRepublik according to different criteria: economic, political, military and popularity. Summing up all the points obtained for those criteria, you get a General Rank. The higher this rank, the better your visibility in eRepublik.

How do I use food?

To survive in eRepublik you need to eat. The eating of food is an automatic daily function as long as you have food in your Inventory. You have to be careful not to be out of food because each day passing without eating makes you lose 5 wellness points. When your wellness reaches 0 points it means your Citizen has died.

What can I do with the party's donations?

As a party President, you can use the money received from donations to promote your party (e.g. posting banners). Don't forget that the promotion of your party is very important for having a high number of members and for getting more votes.

How can I become a Congressman?

In every party, the Party President assigns a certain place to the party's members. The higher your place is, the more chances you have to become Congressman. You can see which place you are listed at by clicking on the "See All Members" link on the party page. Each of the 5 top parties in a country (according to the number of the party members) can have a certain number of seats depending on the number of votes obtained in the elections.

How can I become a Country President?

The first step in becoming a Country President is to be a Party President of one of the top 5 parties considering the number of party members. If you obtain the highest number of votes in your country at the monthly General elections, you become the Country President.
