He was a part of Hrvatska Ujedinjena Stranka until February 2009. Then he moves to Hrvatski Liberalni Demokrati where he becomes an active member, party spokesman and ultimately candidate for Congress on March 25th 2009. He was supposed to enter Congress, but he was banned on the 26th approximately 30 minutes before the end of the elections.
