The CanVision Party was a flourishing political party in Canada. It was formed and founded by Artorius Perim as a result of declining political value in Canada. For the first few months since it's creation, the CVP has been branding all branches of it's a small but growing party. The Party continued to push for lower import taxes, increasing military presence, and working to protect newborn players and ensure that they become integrated into the community. CanVision fought for clean politics, an efficient congress and changing Canada's heavy amount of roleplay and bureaucracy.

Sometime in November 2012, CVP was merged into United Party of Canada.

History

After Artorius Perim's second leave from eRepublik he returned to Canada and decided to pursue his true goals. When he joined the New World back in July 2009 he set out himself an objective; to create his own political party and make it to the Top 5. Now was a golden opportunity to do so. With his former party, the Democratic Action League now dead and with politics in Canada unstable, a new party was needed to help the public have an alternative to politics. The dead in-game Canadian Empire Party was perfect for Artorius to take over, rather than spend 40 Gold. He successfully became Party President on August 15, 2011, and thus began the start of the CanVision Party of Canada.

CanVision Trust: Financial Services

Following the formation of the party, Andrew McKenzie Caine had joined the party and was taken in as Artorius Perim's Vice President. Caine was the designer for the CVP brand and graphics. Later on, the party has created their first program, the CanVision Trust: Financial Services and soon will create their own Military Unit. On September 25th, 2011, the CanVision Party elected their first Congressman, Bunsen Honeydew who was a former EPIC member.

Romanian PTO of eCanada

During the October 15th, 2011 Party President elections Romanian players had targetted several Top 5 parties and attempted to Take over them. They had succeeded in PTOing Union Nationale which raised immediate action by the Prime Minister. Over the next days, an operation was set in place to bring the Union Nationale out of the Top 5 to prevent any PTOers running in the upcoming Congress elections. Democracy and the Francophone community took a big hit and suffered much over the ATO effort. The only representative party of French Canada had to be momentarily put down. In place, the government enacted support of the CanVision Party to rise to the Top 5 and prevent any attempts of a takeover. The CVP's role was to garner as many members as possible, rank above the Union Nationale and hold their Top 5 position throughout the election week.

After much media and messaging effort, the CanVision boosting to the Top 5 for the first time and participating their first Congress Election as a full party. The party had been a temporary home to many French Canadians and other players from other parties who had come to help support the party into the Top 5. CVP ran a full slate of candidates in the October 2011 Congressional elections and successfully elected 10 Congressmembers, 6 of which were real CanVision Members. After the PTO threat had died down, many members left the CVP and returned the Union Nationale back to the Top 5. The CanVision is now working hard to reclaim their position. The party was impressed to see the high level of Canadian unity in times of emergency and a team effort that the CanVision supports.

PTO of CanVision

After Venoms III's tenure, the party tried to elect an active Party President but unfortunately, CanVision was PTOed as membership fell and was taken over to operate as satellite party of Rolo Tahmasee. nucksalltheway was Party President until leaving the party on January 12th, 2012. The same day, a media campaign sparked on The Harbinger with a poster calling on CanVision to rise again. Since then, the party has elected their official Party President, Chewytaz to begin to rebuild the party. However, on February 3rd, she resigned after making an error, causing her to resign from politics. Artorius Perim took over again and most likely led the party till the bitter end.
