During his life, he was an active politician. He was elected Party president of Libertarian Party. During Nave Saikiliah's last term as president in May 2008, he didn't run for party president. This left the spot open for many people to take the top seat in the party. With little campaigning, the spot was awarded to Diarmuid Trelsman. Soon after being elected, he went inactive. At the end of May, Diarmuid signed on one last time to announce that he was quitting the game. He resigned his seat to Vos and never signed on again.
