Fronte Popolare was an Italian political alliance between the parties which refer to the center left. The alliance was founded on 29 May 2008 by Vox Populi, Alleanza Democratica Italiana and Partito Comunista Eitaliano[1], and Democratici eItaliani joined the alliance some weeks later. In June 2008 Vox Populi and Alleanza Democratica Italiana merged to form Partito Progressista Riformista, and they confirmed the party in the alliance. On September 2008 eItalia dei Valori joined in the alliance.

On 5 October 2008 Democratici eItaliani left the alliance for some controversy with other representatives of the alliance [2].
