Garven owns the organisation Grunder Industries, in which he manages companies from time to time. His first foray into managing companies was a Q1 Oil company in then Indonesian-Occupied Western Australia, however, Garven quickly cut his losses soon after. He made a later success company, Grunder Weapons Systems, which made a large profit very quickly, due to his supply of cheap overseas iron. He later sold the company after the weapons market suffered a large downturn.
