After conquering Bassarabia, Hungary moves on to conquer Chisinau and Southern Basarabia.

Resistances begin in Crete, Macedonia, Beersheba South District and Haifa district, the first two of which were Greek territories and the last two of which are Israel. The resistances in Epirus, Ionian Islands and Thessaly fail.

An anticipated declaration of war is made against Germany by Sweden, who briefly moves into and retreats from Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania.

The Central European War of 2009 began with the Swedish invasion of Germany on May 18.
