Independent Of Party Affiliation
A citizen holding the "Independent" position signifies that the citizen is not part of a party in eRepublik. This may be due to being retired, uninterested in the political module, undecided about which party to join, because the citizen doesn't find any suitable place for his/er way of think, and just stay independent, while s/he can be politically active, or even, s/he is independent by option, and also can stay politically active.
