J. Robert Calder, most often referred to as JRC, was an executive officer of The Crimson Order and a citizen of Icon-Canada.png Canada. He was one of TCO's, and Canada's, hardest hitting tanks.

Beginnings

JRC was born on December 11 2008 (day 387 of the New World) in Canada. Shortly after beginning the game he left due to lack of interest and as such his citizen began the slow decline into death. In late January or early February of 2009 after being sent an automated message he decided to return to the game and revive his citizen. From that point on he has never left the game and has developed many friendships as well as accomplished several things, most notable of which is rising to the rank of General in The Crimson Order.

The First Few Months

Having just returned to the game JRC would have a much more difficult time than what a new player would normally have. Having revived his citizen he began his experience at only 50 health and as such, it was very difficult to find and keep a job so that he could buy food and gifts to raise his health. On several occasions instead of being offered help by a General Manager, he would just be fired from the company and have to look for another job.

The training was all but impossible during the first month as it caused JRC to lose the same or more wellness than the food he could afford would provide so he made the decision to stop training altogether until he could bring his wellness up to a decent level.

Eventually, he would come across a General Manager who was willing to help him. JRC would never learn who the man (or woman) behind the organisation was but is eternally grateful to the manager of LW Group of Companies.

Beginning of an Empire and World War 3

JRC decided that it was time to begin building a business empire and as such opened a lumber company. Through this company, he would strive to make a profit as well as offer help to those individuals who were having a difficult time as he had in the beginning. The profits never really became a reality but through helping the new players who were having a hard time by offering food, and fighting tips such as the locations and quality levels of the hospitals spread throughout Canada JRC felt that he was accomplishing something.

Later in the summer, an event would occur which would change the way in which JRC looked at the game. Until this point the military module never held any appeal to him but when July 14, 2009 (day 602) arrived it would change his opinion of the military module and the importance of fighting for one's country. When day 602 arrived it would be the beginning of a 3-week campaign by the PEACE GC alliance which would eventually result in the annihilation of Canada.

A call had gone out a few weeks prior to the invasion by the Canadian Armed Forces, they were looking for people to join the CAF regulars or reserves. Seeing an opportunity to receive weapons so that he could aid in the defense of his country JRC applied to be a part of the CAF Reserves and was placed in the 27th Northern Lights reserve platoon. Weapons were sent out a few times a week and there were orders posted as to where the more important battle was. He would remain a part of the reserves until the fall of Ontario which was the last fortress province in Ontario. Unfortunately, due to real life commitments, he could not put the time into getting on the forum or IRC and after missing 2 or 3 roll calls he was shown the door.

When the final battle erupted in Ontario it was (at the time) the largest battle that the game had ever seen. The forces of EDEN/Fortis would go head to head against PEACE GC, and would push the battle deep into overtime with the wall advancing and retreating several times. The wall was almost in the safe zone and it looked like Ontario would be saved for at least one more day when a push by the tanks of PEACE GC managed to crumble the wall. The battle for Ontario was over ..... Canada had lost.

Citizen in Exile

After the fall of Canada JRC decided to take refuge in another EDEN country and moved to Asturias, Spain. From here he would continue fighting against PEACE GC through the many MPPs which Spain had with its allies. Eventually, France would set its sights on Spain however and a new war would begin which would end in Spain being erased from the map and JRC would once again move to take refuge in the fortress state of Florida in the USA.

During his time in the USA, JRC would come across a growing military group started by 3 times President Bruck with the goal of fighting to return Canada to her former glory. This idea intrigued him and without hesitation decided to apply to be a part of it seeing as how there were no minimum requirements other than working in one of their companies to produce the materials and weapons with which to fight a battle. On August 16th he would officially become a member of Bruck's Canucks and while he did not know it then, this group of people would become his new home.

Bruck's Canucks (BC) / Crimson Canucks (CC) / The Crimson Order (TCO)

JRC would begin his time within Bruck's Canucks working in one of the land companies for minimum wage and being assigned to the 3rd legion Thunder Dirty Beaver Boys. He fought when and where he was told and would be a part of several successful campaigns in Canada. Eventually, JRC would get the opportunity to take command of the 3rd as its current captain, Bunsen Honeydew would have to step aside due to real life commitments which unfortunately resulted in him leaving the game for good.

As he settled into his new position as captain and took control of the added responsibilities he would receive one additional responsibility as he became one of two supply officers under the command of Rylde. Twice a week he would be responsible for distributing 5 Q1 weapons to all members who were ranked Icon Captain.jpg V1 Captain and below, and 3 Q1 weapons which would be augmented with 2 Q2 weapons to all those at or above the rank of Icon Colonel.jpg V1 Colonel.

As captain of the 3rd, it was JRC's responsibility to choose a Lieutenant to assist him in the running of the legion. Out of all the members in his legion he chose TemujinBC and to this day still wonders why since TemujinBC is a butt. With the help of TemujinBC the 3rd became a great legion to be in and several of the officers to follow came from there.

The time eventually came when Rylde decided to leave TCO and there was a debate among the executive as to who would be replacing him as the commander of the Canucks. There were two candidates chosen from among the group, JRC and Velvet Elvis. It was a difficult decision between the two of us but in the end, the decision was made that JRC would be made the new Colonel and take command of the Crimson Canucks.

With this new position JRC was given a place in the executive and with that would pick two people to be a part of the Canuck executive. Though there were many active and enthusiastic members in the Canucks ultimately his choices were Velvet Elvis and TemujinBC. As time went on, real life eventually took its toll on the Canuck executive and Velvet Elvis made the decision that it was time to leave this game. It was hoped that it would be only for a short period of time until things in real life calmed down but unfortunately, it was not, Velvet Elvis left the game and would not return.

Many things happened in the months between JRC assuming the role of Colonel and eventually taking on the mantle of General, too many things to list (mostly because they are forgotten ..... at least for now anyway). The role of General changed hands many times, and each person was deserving of the rank, these predecessors to JRC were, Dycey Farley, Kilgore Trout 89, and Duke of Bruno, and finally, JRC took the helm.
