The Liberal Party of South Africa was an independent party which had nothing to do with this party.

The party was founded as the South African Foreigners Party by Martin Warmonger in August 2009, and just before he went into "retirement" he changed the name to Liberal Party of South Africa. On 20 January 2010 it was announced that the party is changing the name to Free Africa, in the memory of a formerly active political party Free Africa[1].

The party has since ceased to exist and become a Brazilian party when Brazil conquered South Africa. One more time, it was renamed, this time to Uniao Militar Brasileira.

Manifesto

The Liberal Party's Manifesto was put together in the first few days of September 2009.

I) Preamble

The LP is committed to the liberation of all nine official provinces of South Africa, and to the success of the country in an economic, militant, and political way. The policies of the party can be changed to fit the situation of any country situation.

II) Economy

The LP focuses (in an economic field) on promoting the country in any positive economic way. If the situation of the economy changes in that time, the LP will accordingly fit its economic policies into that of the situation.

III) Military

The LP does not support conflicts, and will, when there is war declared against the Republic; try to prevent any wellness (life) loss through diplomatic measures. If there is however no way to convince the enemy through the use of tongue, the LP will support military operations. The LP believes that South Africa should remain a neutral country, and should try to participate in war games, but thus staying neutral.

At the moment the Republic is in no physical condition to try and invade, or successfully protect a country without sufficient loss of gold and ZAR, the LP believes that the country should exclude itself from foreign conflicts.

IV) Politics

The LP supports a cabinet including a very wide variety of ministries, therefore giving more and more citizens the opportunity to get politically involved. The LP will welcome different opinions on any and all aspects of politics. This, however, excludes the type of government the LP supports, Democracy, and more Capitalistic.

V) Elections

a) Presidential

Each party member has the right to run for the presidency, but after a general party decision, the LP will support the candidate the majority voted for and decided on. The LP will not necessarily support its own candidates.

b) Party

All party members can run for party presidency on their own basis.

c) Congressional

Same principals as V), a)

VI) Membership

The LP’s main support lies with players new to eRepublik, but the party will heartily allow any persons, new or old. All countrymen/women are allowed to join the party forum, members, or not.
