Lynari (known also as Lynari Zar, Lynari Soreh, and Lynarii) is a politician born in Connecticut, USA on July 11, 2008, Day 234 of the New World.
Having received the advice to move where there was a higher quality hospital, likely from Daphne Lilac or Justinious Mcwalburgson III, both of whom he had constantly confided in at that time, he moved to Texas, USA. During his time there, he was a member of the Libertarian Party. He died some time later.
On April 12th, 2009, he revived and soon moved to Styria, Austria where he became a Congressman. He became President of Austria and Party President of Rot Weiss Rot, Austria's largest political party. During his three terms as President, Austria obtained all seven of the nation's missing regions. After his Presidency, he became Minister of Justice and wrote the nation's Constitution. He returned to Congress in the September election. In addition to being a Congressman, he is now Chief of Staff of Austria. He had returned to his position as Party President of Rot Weiss Rot during this period, but he stood down in favor of another candidate for the November elections.

Congress of Austria
After a few days of living in the nation, he was a likely candidate of the Rot Weiss Rot political party for congress in Austria. He endorsed Metallon as party president and supported the "Congressional Tax" plan.
On April 26, 2009, Day 523 of the New World, he won a seat in the Austrian Congress. He received 20% of the total votes, which placed him second. Before the May elections, Lynari, for the second time, publicly endorsed Metallon for Party President of Rot Weiss Rot. Lynari was elected to Congress a second time on May 26, 2009 with 27% of the total vote, the highest amount for any single individual. This term was cut short by his election to the Presidency. He announced on September 16, following his Presidency, that he would run for Congress in Styria that month under the Austrian Independence Party, and he did so with the highest number of votes. He became a candidate for the October election and maintained the vote trend.
Presidency of Austria
On May 27, 2009, Lynari announced to the public his candidacy for President in the June elections.
On May 31, 2009, Lynari was chosen as the Presidential candidate for Rot Weiss Rot.
He was elected on June 6, 2009, with 65% of the vote. He chose Degenhardt as his Minister of Foreign Affairs (who was replaced by Max Brand,) Robert Knotsworth as his Minister of Finances (who was replaced by Olorum,) and Metallon as his Minister of Defense. During his time in office, Lower Austria, Vorarlberg, and Upper Austria were reclaimed and Germany recognized Austria as an independent nation. Additionally, Lynari played a role in the stabilization of taxes.
He ran a second time on July 5th with the support of Rot Weiss Rot and the Social-Libertarian Party of Austria against Ivanlp of the People's Socialist Party, Silent Bob of the Open Mind Austria party, and ahmadjigar of the formerly German Buergerliche Union party. Lynari had acknowledged Ivanlp as a respectable candidate, but Silent Bob was the topic of his newspaper article titled A Plague on Austria. He won with approximately 64% of the vote. Carinthia, Tyrol, and Salzburg returned to Austria during this term.
He ran again in August, securing approximately 69% of the vote. Nykoal was appointed Minister of Immigration and Hrvat as Minister of Health. Burgenland was reclaimed twenty minutes before this term ended.
On August 30th, Lynari made the decision to run again in September against Karantanec and his Minister of Defense, Metallon, who had, ironically, nominated Lynari to be President for his first term. Lynari had the support of Rot Weiss Rot, People's Socialist Party and Austrian Independence Party while Metallon had the support of Illuminus Austria. Lynari lost by approximately 3%.
Party Presidency of Rot Weiss Rot
With the hopes of running for President again in July and desiring influence over the Congress to be elected later that June, Lynari announced his candidacy for Party President of Rot Weiss Rot. On June 16, he was elected to the position and used it as a platform to be elected in the July Presidential election. He ran for Party President again in July, opposing his Minister of Finances, Robert Knotsworth. He won with 64% of the vote and used the party as a platform again in the August elections. After being elected President, he ran for the party again in August and used it as a platform for the September Presidential elections, which, for the first time, he lost. As a result, he did not become a candidate for Party President in the September election. For a brief time, he left Rot Weiss Rot in favor of the Austrian Independence Party. On October 2nd, he left the Austrian Independence Party, returned to Rot Weiss Rot, became a candidate for Party President for the October election, and won unopposed. He refrained from running in November in favor of Robert Knotsworth.
Ministry of Justice
A day after Metallon was elected President, he approached Lynari with the offer of becoming Minister of Justice. The duty of this position was to write a consitution. Realizing the role's importance, Lynari accepted. The following day, Minister of Immigration Nykoal published an article questioning Minister of Finance Olorum's recent actions. Metallon released a statement concerning the affair:
You are a part of a group so act like one! If you dont want a group spirit you can resign.
In an effort to defend Nykoal's right to question, Lynari released an article of his own (About Nykoal, Olorum and Metallon):
If by group spirit you mean that it is illegal to have an opinion other than yours, Metallon, you'll find yourself responsible for writing your own constitution.
On September 25, Lynari completed the draft that was later accepted by Congress. He remained Minister of Justice until October 6th when Metallon ceased to be President.
Chief of Staff
Lynari accepted Rangeley's offer to be Chief of Staff should he win the October election for President, and he did. Lynari assumed the role on October 6th:
And so I become Chief of Staff. My goal is the same as it has been since I became a Congressman in April, and that is to serve and protect Austria in any way I can.
Newspaper: To Citizens of the World
On May 4, 2008, Day 530 of the New World, Lynari founded a newspaper called To Citizens of the World. His intention was to reach out to the people of Austria, where most members of Congress seem very uninvolved with the citizenry. The name To Citizens of the World comes from a statement made by Socrates: "I am not an Athenian nor a Greek, but a citizen of the world."
