Minister of Finance is a user created position. The minister is usually selected by the President or the congress. Most often The Minister of Finance controls the finance of the country, sets up national banks and monitors the monetary market. This position is also known as the Secretary of the Treasury in the United States or the Minister of Economy in countries such as France, Serbia, Montenegro and, occasionally, Australia.
