When a user controls more than one Citizen account, they are referred to as multi-accounts. Users generally use "multis" to gain the gold received from invites or win elections. The Terms of Service state: An user can create and administrate a single Erepublik account.

Multi-accounts are illegal and will result in a ban from the game.

Account Sitting

Account sitting, or taking care of another person's account while they are away is also considered multi-accounting.
