Patriot Partiet is newest political party in Norway.
History
Patriot Partiet was founded by Notelitten accompanied by Tobias Hansen, the party was not meant to be a party as big as the others, and focused rather on keeping its members sticking to a certain ideology. During the first days of existance, the party experienced some struggles, but mainly only good will from the Norwegian people. There were members that abandoned their older parties and joined Patriot Partiet in hope of brining more democracy and diversity to the country.

Since the party was formed in march of 2010, Patriot Partiet has only had one party president, the founding president, Notelitten
Politics
Patriot Partiet focused on a very firm ideology consisting of less government control over business, which at its time was quite diverse to both the Binary Party and teknokratene which were the two biggest parties in Norway at that time.
Party program
A short time after Patriot Partiet was formed, Notelitten released the official Party program of Patriot partiet which was the following.
Hello Norwegian Citizens.
My Name is Notelitten, the reason why I'm writing this is to introduce you to the party I recently started along with a friend (Tobias Hansen). I have been planning this for a while. I have always been amongst the people to actually express my dislike with the politics of our government, and I am the one that actually proposed my cases when I disagreed with the Government. Sadly due to severe arrogance, elitism, and corruption, my suggestions never did benefit the government nearly as much as it benefited the people, many of my leaders have told my to simply be quiet about certain things that possibly could harm them. It is amazing how much people are doing to have a clean name, and to look good, but what is the most amazing is the fact that they never cared about the people of the nation, but rather their own selfish ideas.
The party that we created is called "Patriot partiet" or "The Patriot Party" consists of former eNorwegian politicians who got tired of trying to better their country from their former parties, sadly the parties were focusing on how to get the most votes. The eRepublik political system is very similar to the one in the real world, parties would much rather talk smoothly than to tell the truth. I personally come from a party where this too was the case. I am tired of living under a party that brings on communism, and I am here to bring to the people a party that is as far from Totalitarianism and Authoritarianism as possible.
I can tell you that Patriot partiet will not be one of these parties that are willing to give up their political ideology to get more members, personally I have seen parties without a certain ideology, one of the parties you join just to make sure you get into the congress. This will not be one of these parties. Patriot partiet will be one of the parties you join because you truly believe what we believe in, we all share the same ideology, we do what we think is the best for eNorway and it's citizens. This is why I warn all potential members right now, do not jump on us thinking that you can bring on different ideologies than ours, if that be the case, we urge you to try out a different party, one where your ideology is represented.
We all understand that when you put together a political party that is full of internal partisanship, there is absolutely no way you can succeed in politics. I am not saying that I want complete and utter bipartisanship, but to have a political quit pro quot is essential to lead a country, if not, nothing can be accomplished and we will see ourselves go down the path of destruction. The only problem with partisanship so far is that is has been corrupt, people simply do not read, many congress members are not critical to information they read, and many voters do not really care about where their votes go. Unlike many others, I have had it with consuming votes from people hoping the same in return, or simply people who are commanding each other to vote organized to fill up the congress, to get a majority.
Another interesting fact is our economy that I have seen a lot of people arguing about, to give people a little information about our party, I can inform you that Patriot Partiet has members with education in economics, and who in real life are well engaged in politics. We have very well experienced members, with experience in both real life politics, and in-game politics, we have players who are well educated as far as real politics goes, and who are very well educated in eNorwegian history. I do not see how this would not benefit us in creating a government that we can benefit from.
I would now like to introduce you to our party program that consists of our main ideologies, as far as economy and government control:
Economy
One of our prime goals are to fight the horrific inflation that we currently are about to experience. In times up to now, we have had some leaders who simply did not care very much for the future, and simply did whatever benefited themselves as well as the people at that time and point, they simply printed money to use, and used this as a source of national income. You may all think this is a joke, but no, we simply had politicians that didn't think very far, when they ran out of money, they simply printed some more.
Well, we have decided to do our very best to rid eNorway from the long lasting effects of this (economic collapse), so we have decided to start a project which consists of creating a slight deflation to our Norwegian Krone, which will ensure the value, as well as it will remove Norwegian Kroner from circulation, this will not cause any harm to business or people, as it will be done slowly, therefore it would be almost impossible to notice. The main idea is to remove 1% of all tax revenue, and simply put them into a separate account that only will be accessible by the president, and will be used to balance the market later on (compensating by making inflation) when needed. Sadly right now, too much is in circulation, and it must be removed.
Yes, it is true that there are (might be) countries out there who are sitting on great sums of Norwegian Kroner, and can use them against us at any given time, of the times that are likely, politicians believe it will most likely be done in time of war. Yes, this would seriously hurt the eNorwegian economy. The good news of all these bad news is that not only will we recover from this, but we will also be eating up their ammunition, they can simply only do this for a limited amount of times. When they run out, only eNorway will be in control of it's economy, for the first time since the Hungarians stole a great amount of eNorwegian Kroner. I say we all support this project that will put an end to the inflation, and start a new era of deflation!
When it comes to the market, we believe strongly that it is not an animal that should be tamed, we believe it is free, and that it only flourish when it is free. This is why we have come to the conclusion that there is only one way to make eNorway a stronger country, and that is to dramatically lower taxes, and to reduce government control in the market. Institutions such as Universal Healthcare which is already full of corruption, where they buy products under the table, usually from the political party that is already in power, supplying their own party with money that has been gained from taxes. Under us, we will make the best efforts possible to ensure the people that there are no lobby-ism, or corruption, as well as we will stretch us as far as we can to get rid of Government run companies.
The reason we wish to have a free market, and no government run companies is that not only do we combat our own market (not the case in Universal Healthcare), but we also draw resources from the market, in this case the workers, we draw work-power from the market, these people could much rather have spent their work power working with something that was private run, this will ensure economic growth as well as it will save the government lots of money.
Something that is quite controversial is what I have heard about the EDEN plans to put an international tax on all its members, this might have been incorrect, but I will tell you all that if there is put a tax other than the membership fee, this is something our party is willing to take up very, very seriously. And if we did not come to an agreement with EDEN, the eNorwegian membership would be at risk. We are not against EDEN in any way, we simply recognize this as financial blackmail. The idea would probably and hopefully not be ever taken into use.
So to sum up our economic view, we wish to lower taxes, get the government out of the market, and create a slight deflation, all of this is aimed at benefiting the eNorwegian people.
Military
The military is something any nation depends, on therefore we understand the need for an army, and the need to maintain it, I believe this will be one of very few places where we actually should keep a high spending, we will make the best of efforts to make sure that Norway stays in EDEN, we will make sure Norway has a voice in the EDEN council, and that we are put on the map. We have many ideas as far as projects and plans go.
One of our main goals is simply to keep Norway in training wars, but also to prevent an invasion, we wish to make sure that Norway is kept safe, but that the people always have the ability to use hospitals, to fight and that members of the army get handed out weapons to fight with. We will use a great deal of our tax income to fund training, and to make sure Norwegians have weapons in war. Sadly we cannot supply everyone with weapons, so we would like to see older players fund their own training with weapons and such, until a time of war, when everyone will be getting weapons to fight off the enemy.
We think that the army is where our focus must be directed, and that it is one of very few places the government should intervene, as it is very important to have a strong national defense.
A democratic Norway
I have heard a lot about people who would like the congress votes to be made public, so that the people can see what their representatives are voting for, as well as that they can see what their mindsets are, well sadly it reveals too much, I believe, I think that we would be killing the democracy of Norway by simply revealing something as private as this, if the congress is not doing what you wish, maybe it is time to change it until it does? This is how the people should work in a democracy, and this is how a democracy is supposed to be. Therefore Patriot Partiet is very firm on this, we would like all votes to be anonymous, as well as we will not require you to vote for anything, even though we do expect our party members to vote for their ideology, which we hope is very much similar to ours, if not they probably should not be in Patriot Partiet.
Immigration
In Patriot Partiet, we believe that immigration is what keeps our nation alive, we simply depend on newer citizens, this is why we are choosing to keep the Immigration institution "Immigrasjonsverket" up and running. The fund will be relatively low, with the exception of a baby-boom, where the budget will be increased to whatever is necessary to keep our newcomers alive.
Constitution
Right now, we are having problems with people coming up with crazy ideas, many of them are simply realized because of a simple majority of the congress, and I think that because there is a chance of partisanship, we should have a constitution where serious ideas are amended, where plans such as a eg. a contract system (which we would not support) would be amended by a two thirds majority of congress, and could only be removed by another amendment that nullifies it. This is probably one of the more radical ideas we believe in, we simply do not think that the current system of laws, where players simply add something without much consensus is scary, and should be made safer.
Healthcare
Our party supports the fact that there should be a hospital in every region, but simply that it should not be made by a government-run company, it should all be bought from private companies, preferably companies that are not in any way tied to the Government, or any politicians who are in power at that given time. Still we believe hospitals are necessary.
