patti11 was a citizen of Australia.
patti began his life in the UK, as his real life home of Australia was annexed by Indonesia. He was referred to the forums, and soon joined the People's Communist Party through a recommendation by citizen Deilos. Here he learned the basics of the game and gained a profound interest in politics. As V1 came around, patti11 was an active citizen yet never attempted at a stint in politics. He soon found the Australian government in exile, and began to work with them to regain Australia. He joined the DropBears here and met and a lot of prominent Australians including Zaney and MachineMadness. When V1 was introduced (in October 2008) patti11 created B-T Industries. He bought a gift company and sold it in less than a week for a 2 GOLD profit.
He moved to Indonesia to fight in the Australian Independence War and in the region of New South Wales in preparation of a successful war. The war was a failure, due to the determination of the Indonesia to hold on to NSW. Disheartened, patti moved back to the UK and began his push for Congress. However, as the Agreement for the Independence of Australia was signed, he resigned his nomination in the UK and moved to New South Wales to run for Congress there.
Life in Australia
patti11 intended to run for congress in Australia but due to a bug, congress elections in Australia did not occur. He choose to stay in Australia to help the country by starting an iron company in B-T Industries called The Iron Fist. It was a struggle at first, as the minimum wage of 5AUD could not be changed, however, he eventually made enough gold to buy a Q2 food company, Woolworths. When the minimum wage was changed to 1AUD through admin intervention, both business flourished. patti soon upgraded his iron company (later called BHP Billiton) to Q2. When December 25th came around patti was elected to congress, representing the Australian Democratic Socialist Party. He resigned from his position as a Dropbear, due to the constraints of staying in one country. He proposed a loan of 40 GOLD to upgrade Woolworths to Q3 which passed in a landslide vote on the grounds that Australia strongly need a Q3 food company.
On January 23rd, patti resigned from Congress to go fight in the planned Northern Territory Resistance war. The war was ended due to maintenance of the eRepublik servers and patti was too late to run for Congress. Cottus Arci PMed the admins to allow patti to run for congress but his name was put on the list, rather then patti's despite him being the current President. Cottus was elected, but requested to the congress that patti unofficially take his seat which congress approved.
B-T Industries is the organization patti11 runs Woolworths and BHP Biliton through. B-T Industries started in the UK with a Q1 gift company 2 days after the implementation of V1. Deciding he didn't know how to run a company yet, he sold it in under a week for a profit of 2 GOLD. When Australia was freed patti11 created The Iron Fist, a Q1 iron company (later BHP Biliton). It was successful, and he raised enough gold to buy a Q2 food company, at a price of 35 GOLD. That to was successful, and he upgraded the Fist to Q2 and changed its name. patti then sought a government loan of 40 GOLD, to upgrade Woolworths to Q3. The vote was unanimous and the upgrade went ahead. BHP went into hibernation due to lack of demand and patti focused his attention on Woolworths for 1 and a half months. He then requested another loan from CCCP (Central Collective Cooperative of the People. A gathering of company owners with similar ideals.) which he joined after the purchase of Woolworths. The loan was worth 120 GOLD, and it was to pay off the previous loan and upgrade Woolworths to Q4. patti then brought BHP out of hibernation to help pay off the loan.
