How to upgrade
If you are the general manager of a company, you can choose to upgrade a company's quality for a certain amount of gold (see 'Cost of Upgrading' below). You may do this by clicking the "Upgrade quality level" button under the "Products" section on the company's page. However, upgrading also has downsides and numerous other effects that you should be aware of before upgrading. This includes the removal of all your company's stock and market offers, in addition to other changes which are listed below.
Effects of upgrading
Upgrading your company allows you to produce products of higher qualities. In certain areas, this can mean a more efficient and profitable business. However, there are several things you should consider or take care of before upgrading:
- All your products are lost, including your stock and any products you have offered on the market. All products in stock or on the marketplace should be sold before upgrading.
- Any unfinished products will also be removed. For example, if you have 133.4/200 of a Q1 house, you will lose that uncompleted house if you upgrade your company to Q2 (Q2 = Level 2).
- Your company's productivity decreases, so higher quality goods require more work to make.
- Raw material usage is increased in proportion to the quality of your company.
- Workers lose more wellness working at your company.
- The general manager receives 5 experience points for each upgrade, except organization accounts.
Cost of upgrading
You must have gold in your company account for you to upgrade your company.
