This page, viewable from the Gold and Extras menu section, is where citizens go to buy items with their real money or Game tokens. Not all of the items in the shop can be bought with game tokens, however, all of them can be bought for real money.

Shop items are sorted out into 4 different categories:

• Special offers/Packs - can be bought for either real money or game tokens
• Gold packages:
  • 450 GOLD for 99.9 €
  • 263 GOLD for 59.9 €
  • 98 GOLD for 24.9 € or 249 Game tokens
  • 38 GOLD for 9.9 € or 99 Game tokens
  • 17 GOLD for 4.9 € or 49 Game tokens
• Game tokens - can be bought only for real money
  • XL - 999 Game tokens for 99.9 €
  • L - 599 Game tokens for 59.9 €
  • M - 249 Game tokens for 24.9 €
  • S - 99 Game tokens for 9.9 €
  • XS - 49 Game tokens for 4.9 €
• Double energy bars (in packs known as Hero packs)
  • XL - 40.000 energy for 99.9 €
  • L - 23.000 energy for 59.9 €
  • M - 8.000 energy for 24.9 € or 249 Game tokens
  • S - 3.000 energy for 9.9 € or 99 Game tokens
  • XS - 1.400 energy for 4.9 € or 49 Game tokens

At the bottom of the page is a link to buy Gold using phone credit.

Process of paying with real money

After choosing the package citizen would like to pay for, the following steps are to be followed.

Step one - choose payment method

The citizen must select one of several possible payment options to complete their purchase, by clicking on one of the three logos:

• PayPal logo - link to the PayPal page where citizen finishes their transaction using their PayPal account;
• Credit card logo - link to ePayment page on which citizen can pay by his/her Credit Card;
• Paymentwall logo - link to Paymentwall pop-up page that can provide some of the following payment options:
  • Credit card - citizen can directly pay with their credit card from this pop-up window;
  • Paysafe card - link to enter paysafe prepaid card information to pay for the package;
  • Pay by Mobile -link to enter the access code purchased by SMS. Standard SMS rate will be added to the cost.
  • Mint prepaid - link to a page where citizen enters mint prepaid information to pay for the package.
  • Bitcoin - link to a page where citizen pays with their bitcoin.

To proceed, the citizen must agree to the terms of service by clicking on a check-box which states: "I have read and agree with the Terms of Service."

Step two - success

After writing down the required data for payment, the citizen's transaction should be successful. A few minutes after a successful transaction, the chosen package will be transferred to the citizen's eRepublik account.

Notice message

In case you try to buy another same product a warning message can be displayed:

“ Our records show that another purchase attempt was started for this product. Have you (or your friend) already paid for this product? If yes, please be patient and wait for the payment to process, in order to avoid paying twice. If you purchase the same pack twice, the 2nd purchase will be converted into Gold. If you are sure that you haven\’t already completed the payment for this product, feel free to press \"Continue\" and proceed to complete the payment. ”

Buy for a Friend

Buy for a Friend: show your generosity.

A package for a friend can also be bought. You have just to click on the button Send a gift on your friend's profile page and choose what you want to send to your friend. Then write a little description if you want, or you can send the gift anonymously; a good way to show your generosity. Finally, follow the payment instructions (mentioned above) to complete the transaction.

Troubleshooting

If you press the Buy now button one of the following errors can occur:

• a message will appear: "Must choose a package"
  • To solve this problem you simply must check which package do you wish to buy.
• a message will appear: "Must agree with the terms."
  • To solve this problem you must check the check-box button next to "I have read and agree with the Terms of Service".

Occasionally, it could happen that your package is not transferred immediately after the purchase. If this happens, try buying something from marketplace or do some action in-game (train, work). If this doesn't solve the issue, it is recommended that you send a ticket to get the situation resolved.
