History
Since July 2008 this area has become one of the most populated in Ireland, due to many incentives given to citizens moving to Waterford from other Irish areas. This incentives were spearheaded by Mayor Quatermass
In his 1st mandate (21 July - 20 August 2008), Quatermass privatized several public companies, using the gold gained from selling the companies to start many programs, and to buy Waterford its first hospital, a Q2 one.
During this timeframe, an aid program was started to help citizens afford a house (City Council gave IEP to citizens wanting to buy a house). With this program, almost every active Waterford citizen purchased a house, some even getting a Q3 one.
In the meantime, Galway was trying also to buy a Q2 Hospital, so City Council donated 500.00 IEP to Galway to achieve this goal.
In Quatermass' 2nd mandate (21 August - 20 September 2008), he is continuing to offer public programs, helping citizens of Waterford with broad wellness programs, and providing help starting new companies with City Council funds.
