The Glass Onion is a newspaper owned and operated by George Burdell in Canada. When it was founded in Greece (where Burdell lived at the time), its mission was to report the news in an unbiased manner, then display Burdell's personal opinions on each news item. It was primarily used to follow the early stages of the PEACE invasion of North America, as a way for Burdell to announce candidacies for Congress, and to occasionally congratulate election winners. Due to a multitude of RL distractions, Burdell was unable to concentrate on writing articles regularly, and there have been only 18 articles written so far, with the most recent one dating from January 2010. When Burdell relocated to Canada on October 5, 2010, he took the Glass Onion with him. He has not yet published any articles in Canada and is unsure as to whether or not he ever will. For the time being, the newspaper is considered by Burdell to be indefinitely suspended.
