The United Tribes of South Africa was an umbrella organization for member tribes with the purpose of uniting all the tribal groups of eSouth Africa. The UTSA and member tribes were organized according to a kind of tribal or neo-tribal social structure totally unrelated to any kind of ethnic identity.

The members of each member tribe were automatically also members of the UTSA. The Tribal Council of the UTSA was comprised of representatives from each member tribe who were the communication channel between the UTSA and their tribe and represent the interests of their tribe in the UTSA.

All member tribes worked together in unity for the benefit of all tribes thereby strengthening each other and the country as a whole.

The UTSA, under the guidance of a Chief and a Tribal Council, assists member tribes in all aspects of eRepublik life - economics, military, politics, etc. Member tribes therefore assist each other to strengthen and grow and to be as effective as possible in the new world of eRepublik and eSouth Africa in particular.

During times of war (primarily in defense of eSouth Africa and its' regions) the UTSA Tribal Council, under the direction of the UTSA War Chief, were able to issue Tribal Militia orders to UTSA members which were passed on to each member tribe and the citizen militia of that tribe.

All members of each member tribe were also entitled for membership of the United Tribes of South Africa group on eSA Online thereby providing community interaction between members of the UTSA.

Membership Requirements

Any tribe seeking membership of the United Tribes of South Africa adhered to a tribal (or neo-tribal) structure approved by the UTSA.

The tribe consisted of members that were citizens of eSouth Africa (or living in eSA with the intention of becoming a citizen) and that agree to work together in unity for the benefit of all members.

The tribe, under the guidance of a Chief and a Tribal Council, should assisted members in all aspects of eRepublik life - economics, military, politics, etc. The tribe should therefore assisted its members to grow and be as effective as possible in the new world of eRepublik and eSouth Africa in particular.

The tribal organization could be owned equally by all members of the tribe with members combining resources for the benefit of all.

The tribe could have industries that provide employment, income, and assistance to members of the tribe and that are perhaps owned equally by all members of the tribe.

The tribe could have a Tribal Militia comprised of members that are not enlisted in the eSAAF (i.e. ordinary citizens). This citizen militia could then be well trained and supported by the tribe so as to effectively assist in the defense of the tribe, region, or country when required. A War Chief would have the responsibility of building, training and maintaining the Tribal Militia.

The tribe must have a Tribal Council (comprised of members of the tribe that are qualified and suitable for the responsibility of the position) and a Chief of the Council. Being the Chief or a member of the Tribal Council must be a position of responsibility and not a position of power.

The Chief of the tribe and/or other suitable members of the Tribal Council should be available to be the representative members for the tribe on the council of the United Tribes of South Africa and should be prepared to accept the responsibility of serving on the UTSA Tribal Council.

The tribe should have a tribal group on eSA Online to promote community interactivity between members of the tribe.
