Hi, I'm Konstantino. I'm a Greek who made the unfortunate decision to click "Aegean Islands" (my family's homeland) when I saw what region I wanted to live in. Now I'm a Turkish citizen, a fate worse than death. So now I'll either create a new character or work my way to getting a moving ticket and never look back at Turkey again.

Konstantino:The Character

Early Life

Konstantinos Thassiou ("Κωνσταντίνος Δασσιου") was born on Day 608 of the New World on the island of Évia, Greece (Εύβοια, Ελλάδα); under Turkish rule. He grew up four levels in that small town, until he realized the only way to make his native land proud was to move there and prosper. He could do nothing there. Moving tickets were well out of the few lira he had from the Tal Niki Food Company, but Humanity is a fickled subject...

A very kind Turkish man gave him a moving ticket for free, as this Turkish man was not racist, and quite kind. So as Constantine prepared for the first day of the rest of his life, due to a mixup he could not resign from his job until 9:00 PM of the 26th. Finally, 9:00 PM of the 26th came, but terrible news reached him; the Turkish government refused to let him move to a nation they were currently at war with. With the PEACE invasion of North America in full swing, there was no way he could wait out the war. Instead at the behest of an intellectual, he went into self-exile, settling into Tokyo, Japan (within the region of Kantō).

Times were even worse within this strange new city. Luckily, the main body of Japanese citizens could speak English, the de-facto international language, so communication wasn't too much of a problem. A moving ticket cost 8 Yen, something which was way beyond his meager collection of 0 Yen. When he went into the currency exchange due to the inability to use the Monetary Market, he lost half of the things he brought with him to the new world; his 13 Lira. Now left with only one piece of bread, it'll be quite sometime before Konstantino can see freedom in Greece.
