The Tenets of the Path are basic principles and beliefs to which followers of the Path adhere. They are not considered commandments due to the fact that, in the teachings of the Path, there is no deity or authority to issue commands, as all Geno are equal.

The Tenets

1. Follow the Path.

In the teachings of the Path, enlightenment and inner peace are the ultimate reward for following the proverbial "Path". Those who stray from the Path are subsequently influenced by worldly temptations—things not of the Path—such as alcohol or sexual pleasure.

2. The Light is Grey, and the Path is the Light.

The Greylight is a symbol of the neutrality and equality of the Path. Furthermore, similar to the way that Christianity presents the separate entities of God, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Ghost as one entity, the Trinity, the Geno present the Greylight, the Path, and the teachings of the Path to be one and the same.

3. All Geno are Equal.

There are no leaders or followers in the Path faith. There is no individualism, and there is no love. There is no racism, sexism, or other type of discrimination, and there is no hate. This is an extension of the belief that moderation, not extremism, is the way to peace and enlightenment.
