Badgerism is an eReligion of eRepublik. The eReligion is based around the Badger. The Badger is more powerful in some parts of the religion than others, but it is agreed that the Badger is important to the religion.

History

Beginning

The beginning of the religion was rocky. Badgerists were persecuted and their people were scrambling to create order. The religion began when rivere123 founded the title of Lesser Badger and wrote the First Chapter of the Book of the Badger on May 3, 2010.

The Book of the Badger

The Book of the Badger is the story of the creation of Badgerism and its progress until the present day as told by rivere123. It is the first book of the eReligion.

It tells the story of Badgerism's Creation. According to the Book, the eWorld was creating by huge megabytes smashed together by the sheer will of the Ceiling Cat. Ceiling Cat watched over the eWorld from the hole he created in the sky.

The book also says humans come from badgers, just as Headless Chickens do. The Wise Badger is the head of the religion. He persecutes the Badgers that become the Headless Chickens, then feels suffering for the humans killed. He and the Ceiling Cat come together to make the laws of the religion.

In the Second Chapter, the Badger (now much older) takes pity on the increasingly disgusting and Chicken-ruled eWorld. He establishes Badgerism. The religion is meant to keep order and follow the Laws of the Wise Badger. He created the Code of Friends, which required Badgerists to respect each other. The Lesser Badger declared that Fleurism was a misinterpretation on May 12, 2010 and declared that the Fleur De Lis was no longer recognized by the Badger.

Laws and Codes: The Laws of the Wise Badger 1. All eMen and eWomen should be nice unless met by a troll. 2. All Fleurists should dig a hole once in their eLife.

Code of Friends: 1. Trolls Are Not Allowed to Become Fleurists 2. Besides Trolls, all should be treated equally and fairly. 3. The Code of Friends will be held sacred by Fleurists eWorldwide. 4. Badgerists must strive to spread the eReligion across the world and make peace in the process. 5.If necessary, Badgerists may call to arms against nations that purposefully subject their people to violations of the Code of Friends.
