Zammuelism is a religion centered mostly in mainland Malaysia, with additional followings present throughout the world. The religion's core belief is that Zammuel, a hermaphroditic shape-shifting asexual axolotl from Kazakhstan, is the creator of an other-worldy substance known as "PIE", from which The Light and The Dark - the bases of everything both good and evil - comes from.

History

The basic concept of worshiping Zammuel as the creator of the universe was originally proposed by Andrewlindsey. The idea was heavily built upon by Nicholas2000, Lord Moe, and Burning Train. The four are collectively known as "The Four Founders". Zammuelism has spread slowly and naturally, preferring to convert members peacefully and accept their differences if they prefer another religion. It was noticeably recently recognized of by Dio Brando as a partner religion^[1] or broligion.

Beliefs

Zammuelism's beliefs are not written in a traditional format (other than a few unlinked stories written by Zammuel that detail the creation of PIE) and are mostly carried orally and through "Zammuelist teachings", which are individual interpretations of quotes from Zammuel regarding mankind and the world. Ultimately there is no "set" standard for Zammuelist belief, which has mostly kept the religion a loose and un-sectional one with individual Zammuelists encouraged to contribute - but not enforce on others - any additional beliefs they have regarding Zammuel's life or their interpretations of His teachings.

...and so He created Kazakhstan, Land of The Pie, and of THE LIGHT, and it was a GLORIOUS bastion of all that was GOOD, and all who were lovers of PIE and of True Peace migrated there, and here Zammuel lived, and here there was happiness like no other. [?]

Zammuelism has no guidelines for believers other than that they recognize Zammuel as the creator of PIE, a scientifically unexplainable and other-worldly substance from a realm known as Acuario, from which Zammuelists believe Zammuel, and possibly other gods, originate from. This PIE (which is named after the mathematical equation, not the food) is the foundation of The Light (Good) and The Dark (Evil) - and thus, Zammuel is effectively the creator of all that is good and evil, albeit not directly. Most Zammuelists recognize the existence and power of other eGods - namely Dio Brando - but worship Zammuel as the grand creator of the universe. The only other common belief is that Kazakhstan is the "Holy Land" of Zammuelism, and that it was at one time the only official, organized country in the world, prior to The Darkness influencing mankind, leading him to break apart and to abandon the land of Kazakhstan. This belief originates from text written by Zammuel in a story detailing the creation of PIE.

Zammuelists believe that once mankind has reached enlightenment, Kazakhstan will be recreated, and the pure will venture there to fulfill their destinies. Most Zammuelists believe that in order to help mankind reach enlightenment, Zammuel has been born into the mortal world, as otherwise He (and other non-Mortalized deities) is capable of directly influencing His creations.

Practices

Most Zammuelists are henotheists - they recognize the existence of other deities, but believe in Zammuel as the creator of life, and thus the most important. Worshiping other deities is a very uncommon practice in Zammuelist tradition, but it is not theoretically disallowed.

There are no designated times or means of worship in Zammuelism - Zammuel has stated that simply showing one's respect for Him in their own way is an acceptable and pleasurable form of worship for Him.

Zammuel has heavily encouraged His followers to interpret His teachings in their own way, leading to many different views upon Him.

Locations of Zammuelism

Zammuelism is heavily concentrated in mainland Malaysia, where Zammuel Himself was taken as a immigrant following the destruction of North Korea. Although not involved in Malaysian politics Himself, many other Zammuelists are. Malaysian officials have recently recognized Zammuelism as a minority group in their country. Greece is the second most Zammuelist populated country with a following being led mostly by Katharos45. Other places with considerable Zammuelist minorities include the Korean Peninsula, North America, and the British Isles.
