+1 I see no problems with these two additions. However, I think our guidelines for asking for sources needs a little work, and we might need a better definition of what qualifies. Someone has been abusing the policy by using it as a form of attack, and I don't think that badgering everyone for sources over every phrase in an article is what we had in mind when forming these rules.

Also, how many sources are too much? Recently, BGBW and I have been providing tons of sources for Embed, but apparently they're not enough to satisfy someone's lust for bracketed numbers at the ends of sentences. We've provided twenty-to-thirty links, five screenshots, six pieces of functioning code and at least one eyewitness (Not including ourselves), and apparently we still need to provide more.

Furthermore, honesty, as brought up by QJ Lincoln elsewhere. Some users have absolutely no trust of other users. I'm admitting right now that I don't trust Aryahemr, and I'm almost positive that he doesn't trust me. It's becoming increasingly difficult to show good faith to someone who constantly insults you, akin to trying to coax a rabid animal off of your leg. What should be done to maintain, or in this case, regain trust? - –Dr. AgentChieftain Flag of the Crescent and Star PPP! B / C / D / F / P / S 02:43, 16 January 2009 (EET)

 If you wish to answer to a debate regarding references, respond to the questions in the talk page, remove the Template:Ref from the article (if any) and add Template:Unreferenced (if not present) to it. Not answering to the debate before removing the Ref tags or removing these tags without placing Unreferenced to the article may be considered vandalism.

So if someone starts a debate on sources of an article, all the sources have to be removed so that the unreferenced template can be added? So using the Embed article again as an example; one source or one unsourced area in brought into question- would all the other sources as a result have to be removed? Adding the unreferenced template without removing any sources would be a mistake as that claims the whole article is unreferenced which clearly it isn't. Am I understanding this correctly or has my brain just not woken up yet.--~✭βƓЪ✭~ 10:26, 16 January 2009 (EET)

I think "remove the {{Ref|?}} from the code" was intended --Mini "Template boy" Bill Italian in the deep core have a biscuit 14:55, 16 January 2009 (EET)
Yes, that was my intention. Forgot the question mark! --Geo "Talk Pages" Belea 01:20, 18 January 2009 (EET)
Well I'm glad to know I wasn't going crazy.--~✭βƓЪ✭~ 02:01, 18 January 2009 (EET)

Deletion policy

References and bias

The Wiki is lacking tags. Big time! There are contributors who are willing to add tags and there are contributors who have time and will to improve articles based on those tags. Based on this I made the following changes:

  • added a bias tag - {{Ref|X}} - http://wiki.erepublik.com/index.php?title=Template%3ARef&diff=89208&oldid=61650
  • contributors can add tags without waiting 2 days;
  • unreferenced content should NOT be transformed in fictional content - if nobody answer the claims, then that content will remain tagged as content without sources;
  • unreferenced content is not the same thing as biased content;
  • same guidelines apply for biased, but the goal in these cases is not asking/searching for references, but rewording/rephrasing, even removal if that content has no connection or adds no value to the article;
  • The integrity of the entry is important to the authors, so take care in deciding which solution to use when marking content. - promoting ownage - I removed it also from EREP:FIC;

(all the above changes were made here)
