What are ranks in eRepublik?

In national organized militaries, such as the British Army or the United States Armed Forces, citizens who are members are given a rank, which displays their level of importance, responsibility and skill in the national military. This rank is not related to the damage ranks that every citizen in eRepublik has.

For more information on the ingame eRepublik damage ranks, see here.

Admiral Ranks

There are numerous Admiral ranks of various grades that have been used:

All can be referred to by simply "Admiral" or the complete rank.

The rank of Admiral is comparable to General in land-based armies, and Air Chief Marshal in airforce-based armies.

United States

Admiral was the most senior officer rank in the United States Coast Guard.

United Kingdom

In the Royal Navy, the rank of Admiral was given to the last Commanding Officer, John F Baker, after partial military rank reforms. Previous Navy commanding officer ranks had been Brigadier and later Admiral of the Fleet. The rank of Admiral is also given to officers of the Defence Staff, the HQ of the British Armed Forces.
