Alex.L joined Army of Serbia, Tigrovi squadron on January 7, 2010. Tigers broke apart in February, and its members formed a new unit, Front of Heroes on February 19, 2010. He became head of logistics of the unit on August 1, 2010, and he was chosen as a new commander on March 6, 2011, position he has maintained until today.

In the beginning of 2014, Serbian Special Forces (SSF) units (Front of Heroes, Guardian Angels and White Eagles) entered Vukovi ingame unit, so the whole formation is now ingame in one unit. They have since won first place at national weekly leaderboards almost each week. This is only ingame, every unit kept its avatars and separate IRC channels. That is why Alex.L is not commander of the unit ingame.
