Alexander Romanov (born April 20, 2009 in Russia, died August 18, 2009 in Israel) was a businessman, politician, and soldier. Although Romanov was not born in Israel, he has since immigrated and began a successful career in politics there.

Politics
Elected to the Party Presidency of the Kadima in July 2009, Romanov changed the party into what it is today. Romanov has successful recruited several new members to Kadima as well as gold contributions.
He was instrumental in the development of the Kadima-Likud Coalition.
On August 16, 2009, the newly reelected Kadima Party president Alexander Romanov signed a coalition contract with the newly elected Likud Party President Justin Moore. The terms of the coalition contract included coordinating elections, sharing a common forum, and creating a common party platform.
Military
Romanov reached the level of Captain on July 10, 2009 while fighting in Hungary. He is now a member of the Israeli Defense Forces and faithfully defends Israel.
