History
Penegrin had a good start in eRepublik and managed to collect 2 SB medals in a short time. On the whole he brought 27 players to eRepublik who reached level 6 or higher. Back at that time this was worth 
135 GOLD plus additional 10 for the two medals. With this sum he started the Babenberg Holding with a Q3 Grain Company in Lower Austria soon to be followed by a Q2 Food Company in Vorarlberg and a Q3 Oil Company in Texas.
After V2 Penegrin reinvested the money he recieved for his high Q companies to expand his enterprise further. As a reaction to the changes he decided to retreat from the Austrian market step by step. After selling its first two companies (Food and Grain) the Holding only owned a Weapon Company in Austria while most of the new companies were located in the United States.

Babenberg Airways (New Jersey) was also the latest addition and benefited from the own oil company. It offered moving tickets for 2 zones and owned licences for the USA, Spain and Russia.

Babenberg Grain (Kansas) was the second Grain company of Babenberg Holding. Together with Babenberg Food this company acted as backbone of the Holding in the United States. The company owned a licence for the USA.
Babenberg Oil
Babenberg Oil (Texas) was the first company outside of Austria and thus the beginning of the International expansion of Babenberg Holding. Originally bought to supply the Austrian market with reasonable cheap oil, later it supplied the Babenberg Airways and owned licences to USA, Indonesia, Bolivia and Austria.
Babenberg Iron
Babenberg Iron (Asturias) was the second iron company after a Q3 company in Karnataka, which was sold after rumors indicated this region would be given back to India soon. The company owned licences for the Spain, USA and Croatia.
Babenberg Stone
Babenberg Stone (Pennsylvania) was originally bought to supply the Austrian market with reasonable cheap stone but later was mainly selling on the US market. The company owned licences for the USA and Austria.
