Battle priorities are used by commanders of military units in order to automatically update the battle orders in certain specific cases.

Battle priorities

The Page with Battle Priorities

On the military unit page, the commander will be able to set up a priority list of 5 countries.

  • The priority list is used in case the battle from the daily order ends or when there is no order.
  • When the battle from the daily order ends, a new one will be selected from the wars involving the countries selected in the 5 priorities.
  • The order is updated to all the regiments where the daily order battle is no longer valid (the battle has ended).
  • The battle that is selected for the daily order can be any direct active battle between two countries or any resistance war of the countries;

When the commander clicks on the "Set battle priorities" button, he will see 5 priorities where he can choose the countries and also if they he wants to fight “for” a country or “against” a country.

Unlike normal battle orders, Battle Priorities do not reset at the beginning of each new server-day.

How a daily order is displayed to a member?

  1. If the daily order has been selected by the captain of a regiment, that specific order will be displayed. This type of order can only be changed by him anytime (with a limit of 5 changes per day).
  2. If the daily order has not been selected by the captain of a regiment, the order selected by the commander of the military unit will be displayed. This type of order can only be changed by the same specific commander anytime only if it was manually set by him/her or was chosen automatically from the battle priorities (with a limit of 5 changes per day).
  3. If neither the commander, nor the captain have manually selected a battle order and the current battle order become invalid (battle ends), an automatic battle order is automatically selected based on the battle priorities set by the commander. (battle priorities have a limit of 5 changes per day for each of them)

How a battle is automatically selected

Example 1

If the commander has selected the following priorities:

  • for COUNTRY A (100 points of priority)
  • against COUNTRY B (50 points of priority)
  • against COUNTRY C (25 points of priority)
  • for COUNTRY D (10 points of priority)
  • against COUNTRY E (5 points of priority)

the system will check if the following battles exist and will select the first one found:

  • for COUNTRY A against COUNTRY B (150 points of priority)
  • for COUNTRY A against COUNTRY C (125 points of priority)
  • for COUNTRY A against COUNTRY E (105 points of priority)
  • for COUNTRY A - no matter the other country (100 points of priority)
  • against COUNTRY B for COUNTRY D (60 points of priority)
  • against COUNTRY B - no matter the other country (50 points of priority)
  • against COUNTRY C for COUNTRY D (35 points of priority)
  • against COUNTRY C - no matter the other country (10 points of priority)
  • etc.

Example 2

The commander sets the priorities for his MU like this:

  1. fight for Romania
  2. fight against Hungary
  3. fight against Sweden
  4. fight for Croatia
  5. fight against Estonia

If Romania is fighting with Hungary, Turkey, Sweden and there is also Croatia against Estonia, the priorities will look like this:

  • Romania - Hungary is in priority 1 and 2 so the battle will receive 100 points from the first priority and 50 points from the second, 150 points total.
  • Romania - Turkey receives only 100 points because it only appears as first priority.
  • Romania - Sweden receives 100 points because it appears in the first priority and 25 points because it is in the third, total 125 points.
  • Croatia - Estonia receives 10 points from the 4th priority and 5 points from the 5th priority, total 15.

So, the battle where the soldiers will fight first will be Romania against Hungary for summing up 150 points.

The points we mention above have nothing to do with the points in battle or anything. They are just used to explain how the priorities are chosen.
