The Presidential Office is a page accessible only for the President of a Country and it contains the following features:
- Country budget – the President can select to issue or burn money, the amount involved and propose it to the Congress.
- Taxes – taxes within industries (Moving, Food, Weapons, Housing, Hospitals, Gifts) are decided in each aspect (VAT, Import tax, Income tax), and proposed to the Congress;
- New citizen fee – here Presidents can set the citizen fees. An user receives a Citizen fee when he registers for the first time on eRepublik. The minimum amount for the Citizen fee is 5 local currency.
- Trade agreement – here Presidents decides a separate trading tax with another country.
- Mutual protection pact – here Presidents can propose or terminate protection agreements with other countries.
- Propose war/peace - on this page Presidents can propose to the Congress to start a war. The peace request doesn't need the Congress approval.
Title
Some presidents choose to go by the title Prime Minister though this is not an official title in the game. Another one has chosen to refer to himself as Shah.
