In 2012 a new party, Civilno drustvo (Eng. Civic society) appeared on the Icon-Croatia.png Croatian political scene from the ashes of Liberalna Stranka Hrvatska party. The party soon became a top 5 party, a position that she held on and off for the first several years of existence. In 2015, a dramatic drop in membership ended up the success story, and the party was ofter 6th or 7th largest party in Croatia, just out of the reach for Congress elections.

Stranka za poticanje poštovanja, partnerstva i razvoja društva.
(Eng. The Party for encouraging respect, partnership and development of society.)

(Motto of the party)

The military unit is connected with the military unit Civilno drustvo, where party members serve.
