Military
CrashNBurn started in Training Division under Relin (PL) and LivingAbroad (SQD LDR). Through perseverance CrashNBurn was eventually promoted to Squad Leader. When the Training Division was shut down and reorganized into the United States Training Corps, CrashNBurn persevered. Starting over as a Platoon Sergeant he was eventually promoted to Platoon Leader. CrashNBurn served his country for months before retiring from active military service.
Political
CrashNBurn joined the Federalist Party after talking with Augustis, Citizenslave, and other friendly Feds on the IRC. Community minded Feds had just started the Habitat for Humanity. CrashNBurn was impressed with their business expertise and charitable work. This was around time when Bill Brasky stepped down as Federalist Party president and Fingerguns started her work in revitalizing the Federalist Party. The welcoming nature of the Federalist Party motivated CrashNBurn to get involved right away. Firstly as a Precinct Captain for the New Jersey District, under Citizenslave. It didn't take CrashNBurn long to became the District Representative for the whole New Jersey District. CrashNBurn re-branded the tedious sounding "New Jersey District" into the Hero Squad; after the show Arrested Development.
Under the leadership of CrashNBurn Hero Squad prevailed in winning it's first election under it's new DR. Party president Fingerguns then offered CrashNBurn the position of Political Director for the Federalist Party. CrashNBurn has been organizing and supporting Fed elections ever since. Not only that, but also making a strong effort to work with all parties in selecting quality congressmen. It has not always been a smooth process, but the United States has taken great steps in removing partisanship. CrashNBurn feels its very important to prevent any backsliding towards pre WW3 politics. In furtherance of CrashNBurn's stated goal to help ensure quality in congress he started the monthly congressional checkup. CrashNBurn asks congressmen to rank 0-5 on how they feel their fellow congressmen are doing. Which he publishes for public consumption in his newspaper, to better inform citizens on who to vote for. Rheinlander von Phalz is kind enough to work with CrashNBurn on this and to make the map and graphics used in the report.
Congress
The United States Workers Party was kind enough to let CrashNBurn run under their banner for his first congressional attempt. Running in Illinois, CrashNBurn was victorious. CrashNBurn spent his first month networking and getting to know fellow congressmen as well as trying to learn the ropes. After his first term the nation was down to 2 or 3 states during the height of the North American Invasion. Fearing he wouldn't have the time needed to execute the duties of his office, CrashNBurn stepped aside for that month(August 25th - September 25th). The following month CrashNBurn ran in West Virginia, and ran here successfully for three terms. When he needed to devote more time to other aspects of eRepublik, CrashNBurn was all to happy to step aside and was glad to leave his seat open for other great Federalists and Citizens to serve in.
In congress CrashNBurn served primarily on the Infrastructure Committee. After some committee merging he was on the Domestic/Internal Committee or DIC. While part of DIC, CrashNBurn was asked to serve as Sub Committee Chair focusing on Citizen Affairs.
CrashNBurn feels his greatest achievement in congress was the creation of the United States Code of Law. However he was not alone in it's creation, crediting Evan Feinman of America's Advancement Party as instrumental to the cause. CrashNBurn collected all the past laws that congress had enacted and Evan organized them into an official code. They did this in order to better inform the public of what has been passed, as well as informing congress of past acts. This way new and old congressmen know what laws are on the books.
CrashNBurn returned in 2013 under the alias of crashthompson. He also became the first XO of the second Federalist Militia SHIELD
