Deilod was a citizen of UK who also lived in Australia for a short time.

Political Career

For most of Deilos' early life, he chose not to involve himself at all in politics. He associated himself with the party which he felt had the same general ideals that he had, however, did not really do much research into who he was voting for and did not contribute any ideas. However, sometime in early July 2008, Deilos began to get involved, reading political interviews and newspaper articles.

His first in-game responsibilities were as a platoon leader of the UK Paratroopers. He then grew more and more active, contributing as a member of the People's Communist Party, to the point where he was chosen to be a forum congressman in September 2008 for the PCP in place of Frufru, who was inactive. Given access to congress discussion and voting for this month, he was a strong presence for this month in the House of Commons. The same month, he was also made an apprentice and undersecretary to the Minister of Defence, Widdows9000. In October, he was elected to become a full congressman for the PCP and apprenticed to the Minister of Foreign Affairs, while continuing as Underminister of Defence.

On the 14th of October, Widdows9000 declared that he was leaving the UK, making Deilos Minister of Defence. This came during a very busy period, so he was swamped after this and had to resign from most of his other posts, except for his role in Congress. As MoD, Deilos was responsible for organising the UK's war efforts for the Australian resistance war and Argentina's wars with Brazil and Indonesia. He left the House of Commons to fight in Australia, instead of being made a Lord in the UK's newly formed House of Lords.

Most of Deilos' time as Minister of Defence was spent attempting to improve ATLANTIS' organisational structure and planning the second resistance in Australia. When Argentina was attacked, he tried to find a way to prevent Argentina from being conquered by Indonesia. From this, he realised that if ATLANTIS could cut off Indonesia's only route to Argentina - Western Cape, an occupied South African region - then they could avoid most of the damage that this war was likely to cause. As such, he proposed this idea to ATLANTIS, and they began to make the preparations suggested for preventing a real war with Indonesia. On the day of the war, Astromaniac, ATLANTIS' Supreme Commander, made Deilos second-in-command as he would be unavailable to coordinate it.

Deilos resigned as MoD at the end of November and was succeeded by funky44.

His next political role was in Australia, where he was a member of the Australian Cabinet for two months in February and March, firstly in the Ministry of Finance and then the Ministry of Defence where he was temporarily Commander of the DropBears. However, due to other circumstances, Deilos was unable to finish the third term and retired from Australian politics.

In May, Deilos returned to the UK, where he became active again as a Lord before being elected again as a Congressman on the 25th.

Economic Career

Deilos worked in the housing industry from his very first day in eRepublik, continuing in constructions with the arrival of V1. However, Deilos switched to manufacturing in early May in order to contribute to the UK's military companies.

He managed Defiant Ltd for several months from the beginning of V1, which began containing Defiant Lumber, a Q2 wood company in the North West of England, UK, and later expanded to include Defiant Iron, a Q2 iron company in Northern Territory, Australia. He later shut these companies down.

Military Career

The military is where Deilos has done the most work, perhaps. He signed up to the UK Paratroopers when they were created in late February. He was unable to deploy for their first war, the Indonesia-Australia War, due to the moving bug that many people suffered from, however, he fought in every other conflict that he was asked to go to; the France-Switzerland War, the Germany-Poland War, the Indonesia-South Africa War (Part I only), the Second Sweden-Germany War and the pre-V1 part of the Romania-Hungary war, dubbed as World War I. Later, after his Congress term, he fought in the Australian Independence War, the resistance war in Western Cape, the ATLANTIS invasion of France, the USA-Mexico War, the Romania-Indonesia War and the Sweden-Germany War.

When the UK paratroopers were reorganised into Elites and four regular platoons, Deilos was made an elite and also chosen as the leader of Platoon D. He led his platoon for three wars, Sweden-Germany, Indo-SA (Part II only) and Romania-Hungary, aka WWI. In September, his appointment as apprentice and undersecretary to the Minister of Defence set Deilos on the path to becoming a congressman in October, forcing him to resign from the paratroopers.

As MoD in October, Deilos was meant to be improving the UK's Paratroopers and reforming the Reserves. While he did increase membership in the paratroopers back to what it formerly was, despite heavy inactivity resulting in many members being removed, his efforts for the Reserves were less than they could have been. He paid very little attention to it, while his underminister Funky44 was working very hard to implement the reforms. This was perhaps Deilos' most major downfall and could be seen as one of the reasons for the UK's loss in the war against the French during Funky44's term as MoD.

Deilos left the UK for Australia in January and joined the DropBears. He ascended to Commander of the DropBears, where he drastically increased recruitment, however, he was unable to continue due to external circumstances. When he later returned to the UK in May, Deilos once again joined the paratroopers and was put in the SAS
