Donovan Thomas

Birth
Donovan Thomas, or DT as he is known, was born in the Cork region of Ireland on day 623 of the New World after following an advertisement on Pundit Kitchen.ie.
The Early Days
Donovan Thomas quickly became a strong voice in the Irish media by taking on the policies of then President Aran Tal. Though an early supporter of President Tal, Donovan Thomas was critical of Tal’s frequent absences from the media and his premature call to war in defence of Greece during the Turkish Invasion.
Upon latching his teeth onto the heels of the president, Donovan began to garner the attention of certain political and military leaders who began mentoring him in private. Upon leveling up he joined Independent Voices, a party of non-partisan independents founded and led by Digits 05637716 (AKA Digits).
Immediately upon reaching level five Donovan attempted to enlist in the Irish Defence Forces under then General Top Gun but as many others over the course of the next couple month was met with roadblocks and apathy.
Donovan is quoted as saying

Suits and Boots
After a call from friends to run for congress Donovan announced his candidature via his news paper Cork and Whine and was elected into congress representing Dublin with a a resounding 18 votes. Shortly after, Patton was elected as CP and approached Donovan to be his Minster of Information.
It was around this time that Donovan initiated the Buy "Genuine' Irish campaign mirroring a real life campaign to keep IEP in the hands of the Irish and not into the coffers of foreign investors. You would be hard pressed to find many companies owned by Irish today that do not carry the G-Irish brand.
It was during this time that Donovan caught the Soldier Bug and began to sour on politics. On the advice of then MoD Gráinne Ní Mháille, Donovan was tapped to take over the role as Intelligence Chief as well as MoInfo resulting in his close working relationship with the MoD ultimately culminating in his selection to replace her following her resignation.
Toward the end of Patton's first mandate and by the request of Independent Voices Party President Binksy, Donovan Announced his candidature for Country President. Following his announcement Patton made public his intention to seek a second mandate. Via a gentleman's agreement between Patton and Donovan both continued to work together though they opposed each other on the ticket and further hoped to continue that relationship if the other was defeated. Patton defeated 5n4keyes in the October Election with Donovan coming in third with 66 votes to 5n4keyes' 98 and Patton's 188. Donovan released a congratulatory concession article at midnight and got back to work.
Reformation of the Irish Defense Force
Donovan was named by Patton as Gráinne Ní Mháille's successor as Minister of Defence in October 2009. Donovan immediately investigated the alleged existence of an API already designed to administer the IDF. Following conversations with Michael Collins, Donovan secured a working copy of the API and with the help of Collins established it as the primary Enlistment and Commanding Officers Tool it is today.
During Donovan's time as MoD numerous changes were made to the IDF to realign it with numerous successful army's throughout the world. With the help of his Chief Of Staff, Conor Larkin, the Ministry of Defence launched a coordinated assault on the Irish Population flooding them with information and resources. On any given day during the month of October it would not be surprising to see up to two MoD articles dominating the top five news articles with up to three times as many votes as the next.
During the reformation troop strength was raised to an accurate and active number of over 150 spread out over eight divisions including a Special Warfare Tank Division and 3rd Rangers Mobile Division. A "bootcamp" was created in the National Forum to bring tips, tricks and training to new citizens and reservists as well as a purging of the old outdated barracks and dedication and completion of the new O'Malley Hall barracks.
It was with regret that Donovan felt compelled to resign as MoD toward the end of October due to real life work load and pending travel. His recommendation of long time Home Guard Commanding Officer Kit Fisto was accepted by Patton and a smooth turnover ensued.
Disillusionment, Departure and Theocracy
Shortly following his resignation and subsequent new found freedom of speech, Donovan realized that Irish Politics had changed little since his birth. The same rise and fall, the same people with the same arguments had become gauche. He decided to travel to South Korea to follow his mentor and in doing so applied for entrance into the Theocratic Holy Army.
Since his acceptance into the most feared and respected military unit in the world Donovan has become a truly devout Theocrat. His battle record reads as a whirlwind tour of the world supporting causes he see's fit while always prepared to rain down holy fire on the enemies of Theocracy.
Before the Theocratic Exodus to Spain from South Korea and a return to more purely martial ways, Donovan proclaimed himself a "Theocratic Missionary" and embarked on a journey of the mind to convert the "infidels of so-called eSouth Korean Democracy”.
In the first letter of Donovan to the Democrats ie[1] he briefly describes Theocracy as such;

War, homecoming and Return to Government
Following the first month of Theocracy's new ventures based in Spain word was passed to Donovan that Ireland's days of neutrality were ending quickly. A Mutual Protection Pact with the eUSA was passed in Dáil Éireann as war ravaged the United Kingdom. Donovan returned to Ireland, immediately repatriated and joined the Irish Defence Force. Two days later President Edana Savage was elected to a second mandate as President of The Republic of Ireland and quickly tapped Donovan to fill the role of Vice President along with recent returnee Michael Collins as Minster of Defence.

Donovan Thomas is the Owner and Operator of "The Silver Hand" Organization and it's spectrum of companies based in Ireland and abroad as well as the author of "The New Praetorian" (formerly Cork and Whine) and the satirical tabloid "Murphy's Law".
