Overview of the election page taken on February 9th, 2019 - results from the last held Presidential elections are displayed.

Clicking "Elections" on the Community tab, will display the Elections page.

By default, the elections page displays the elections in which the citizen could vote (based on citizen's citizenship or party membership, depending on the election type), either the currently ongoing elections or the results of the last election type which is to follow (for example, if the next election is the presidential one, the results from the previous presidential elections are shown).

On this page you can also:

  • View other election results by making selections from the drop-down lists in the upper left.
  • See the time of the next elections to be held in the box in the upper right.

Voting

On the Election Day (the 5th, 15th or 25th of every month, depending on the election type), adult citizens can vote for their preferred choice by simply clicking the Vote button.

Different election types

There are three different types of elections:

Elections for Country President

In the Elections for the Country President, citizens from each country vote for their preferred candidate to become President. Each party supports one candidate for the president, however, each candidate can be supported by more than one party. There is a maximum of 5 candidates in each presidential election. Presidential elections will not occur only if there are no candidates for the president.

Elections for Party President

Main article: Party elections

In the Elections for the Party President, members of each political party may vote for their preferred candidate to become the president of that party. Party elections will not occur only if there are no candidates for the party president.

Elections for Congress

Main article: Congress elections

In the Elections for the Congress, citizens from each country vote for their preferred party to represent them in the Parliament. Congress elections will not occur if a country has been wiped off the map.

FAQ

Who can vote?

Every adult citizen can vote in the elections for the Congress or Country President of their citizenship country.
Party members can vote in the elections for the president of their party.

What happens if a citizen is viewing the election page on the day of the elections and they cannot vote (e.g. are not members of that party or don't have the citizenship of that country) or have already voted?

They will view the temporary results of the elections.
