Federal Republic of South East Asia

The Federal Republic of South East Asia was the name of the unofficial union of two Southeast Asian countries, Thailand and Malaysia in August 3, 2009. The Federal Republic of Southeast Asia was bounded by the Philippines in the east, Indonesia in the South, China in the north, India in the west and Singapore located in the central part of the Republic.

The union was more or less dissolved around the first of November 2009 as Central Thailand gained its independence under the protection of Malaysia.
