The world was very serious about condemning Swedish imperialism.
The Sweden-Denmark War was a military conflict between Sweden and Denmark which resulted in Sweden's annexation of all Danish territory.
Military Operations
On April 21, 2008, Sweden declared war on Denmark. Swedish military agents then invaded Danish territory. In response, Denmark and its allies, Bulgaria and South Africa, launched retaliatory military operations against the Swedish invasion forces. On April 23, 2008, after a series of military engagements, Sweden annexed all of Denmark's territory.
Postwar Resistance
Following the annexation, former Danish citizens organized a resistance movement within the annexed territories aimed at restoring the state of Denmark. The movement operated under the leadership of Grev Per. On July 1, 2008, Grev Per announced his resignation as leader of the resistance; however, he took up the position once again and the Danish resistance is still active.
