Folket (Eng: The People) also known as Antikapitalistiska Arbetarepartiet, abbr: AKAP (Eng: The Anti-Capitalist Workers' Party), formerly and later known as MSAP, was a left-wing party in Sweden. It has always been a party that stood by the weak and the indigent. As the only left oriented alternative amongst the major parties in Sweden it has often been pointed out as the common scapegoat, and its members usually stigmatized for their political beliefs. Because of this the party become a target in different situations and taken over on several occasions.
History
Folket party does not have rich history under its name, but the path to establihing Folket party is extremly interesting and long, it starts in December 2007 and lasts til September 2009, when the party was actually created.
December 2007
Raxusprime founded Swedish political party Celestial Being on December 1st 2007 with help of ScymeX, Mikuchan and IntoCX. It quickly grew into Sweden's second biggest party and the name was changed to Militantsocialistiska Arbetarpartiet (MSAP).
January 2008
On January 8 Rexusprime quits Erepublik and passes the party presidency to ScymeX.
March 2008
On March 11, The Herminator is elected party president and remains so until August later that year.
August 2008
On August 11, BotherMe is elected party president.
September 2008
On September 11, Vectoor is elected party president and remains so until December later that year.
December 2008
On December 16, Radsoc is elected party president.
January 2009
On January 16, The Herminator is elected party president and remains so until March later that year.
March 2009
On March 16, Rhood is elected party president.
April 2009
On April 16, The party suffers its first coup by Neppons, who is elected party president.
May 2009
On May 16, Mombassa is elected party president and the party is restored. He remains party president until July that year.
July 2009
On July 16, The party suffers its second coup when Swedish citizen Bertil Gurkvatten is elected party president. Members of other Swedish parties came to aid him during the election.
August 2009
On August 16, The party suffers its third coup when Swedish citizen Simcon is elected party president. Members of other Swedish parties came to aid him during the election.
On August 24, The Herminator Institute is founded by Dirty Harry and Rhood. The purpose of the institute was to gather all socialists regardless of party membership, and formulate a new political e-ideology derived from socialism.
September 2009
On September 16, Per-Fredrik is elected party president and the party is restored. Three days later, on September 19, MSAP is transformed into the new party - Folket.
October 2009
On October 16, Frida Odinsdottir is elected party president and stays in the office til the December.
December 2009
On December 16, josefstark become the party leader, but leads the party only for one month. In January 2010, the party is takenover by Turkish citizens and was never restored as Folket.
