Main article: History of Germany

Germany was among the first countries in the beginning of eRepublik. Germany's population grew slowly and has been though many wars, mainly with Poland and Sweden. In February 2009, the Austro-German Union was created with the help of, Isy, President of Germany and Chicco, President of Austria. This union lasted for about a month after Italy and Hungary as the PEACE Global Community disagreed of the union. They started resistance wars in all Austrian regions and the country was freed within a few days. In May 2009, Poland sent people into Germany for a political takeover, though it had little success as most citizens who were in the German congress were multiple accounts and they were banned. shoot then betrayed Germany by running for President with help from his Swedish and Polish friends. He was elected and he let Poland and Sweden take the regions of Germany. PEACE Forces then set up resistance wars in all regions of Germany and slowly got the Swedish and Polish out of German regions.

The Polish then tried for a second political takeover. In which they succeeded in securing the Congress of Germany. They were unsuccessful in getting their chosen President in but impeached Gobba to get their candidate in. The Polish congressmen were all banned or lost their congressmen status with reasons unknown. The real German congress was able to impeach the Polish candidate and Germany was once again safe. The Polish in the end successfully secured 100,000 DEM whereas the German congress was able to secure the 500,000 DEM with the help of Hungary from the treasury. Germany then joined Phoenix a new alliance in which they were able to push out the Swedish people from their country. Germany and members of Phoenix were able to save the neighbours of Germany, Denmark. German and Slovenian Presidents agreed for Slovenia to rent Schleswig-Holstein and Hamburg as Slovenia needed a high grain region. Slovenia had to pay Icon - Gold.gif 100 GOLD to Germany each month for the rent.

Germany was then invaded again in late 2010 by Poland and Sweden.
