The Guillotinist Guild was the largest religious party in Icon-Guillotinist Guild.png Switzerland. It started as party with ID 3601 but was dissolved on July 30th, 2012. Later it was revived several times, dates are not certain, but the last revival was with ID 3921.

Background

The Guild is the shrine of His Holiness, Monsieur Baguette, God of Gods, and is the sanctuary for all disciples of Guillotinism. Those who wish to embrace His Holiness' holy presence are here, offered holy baguettes. Praise His Holiness for all that he has done! Hail Baguettes!

During the month of January 2012, His Holiness, Monsieur Baguette, God of Gods, began preparations for his candidacy for President of Switzerland. Soon, His Holiness found out that he was running against only one opponent: Nemkec, Party President of the Swiss Freedom Party. About a week before the elections, the Swiss Reform Coalition unanimously supported His Holiness' candidature for presidency. A couple days afterwards, the newly formed Helvetia Union under Hot Fever also unanimously supported His Holiness. And so by the end of the election day, as expected, His Holiness pulled through, winning by a landslide. The official results were His Holiness, Monsieur Baguette, God of Gods, with 56 votes, and Nemkec with 26 votes, which meant that His Holiness, Monsieur Baguette, God of Gods secured an incredible 68.29% of Switzerland's voters.

After a successful first term as President of Switzerland, Monsieur Guillontine decided to run for re-election in February 2011. This time however, Monsieur Guillontine would have to run against 3 other opponents, who were Dan/naD Wilshire from the Anti-Imperialist Movement, Hot Fever from the Helvetia Union, and His Holiness' most dangerous rival, Julian Anderson from the Swiss Reform Coalition. By the end of the day, His Holiness, Monsieur Baguette, God of Gods barely won by 2 votes. The official results were His Holiness with 31 votes, Julian Anderson coming in second with 29 votes, and Hot Fever and Dan/naD Wilshire both with 8 votes. Thus, His Holiness, Monsieur Baguette, God of Gods barely scraped a victory with 40.79% of Switzerland's voters.

The Guillotinist Guild was formed on January 1st, 2012. Monsieur Guillontine is considered to be the founding Grandmaster.

The Guillotinist Guild grew quickly in Swiss terms, mainly due to the fact that the Swiss people liked His Holiness. The guild's religious affiliation to Guillotinism was appealing to many, and with welcoming arms toward the public, the guild was able to convert many to the true faith. Today, the Guillotinist Guild has, and continues to constantly strive to spread the holy words of His Holiness throughout the whole nation, as well as creating awareness throughout the international community.

Wetboek.png The Three Golden Rules

1. All disciples must accept and worship His Holiness, Monsieur Baguette, God of Gods, as the Father of the World.

2. All disciples must pray to His Holiness, Monsieur Baguette, God of Gods, three times a day. The first time, to thank Him for the creation of mankind; the second time, to thank Him for compassion and protection; and the third time, to thank Him for the baking of baguettes.

3. All disciples must make a pilgrimage to the holy city of Geneva once a year, where disciples must kiss the feet of His Holiness, Monsieur Baguette, God of Gods, three times.
