Icon-Austria.png The following is a timeline of Austria's history on eRepublik. The history of Austria began in November 2007 when it was first added to eRepublik.

Day 0 to Day 99

  • Day 0 - 20th November 2007
  • Flag-Austria.jpg Austria is added as a country in eRepublik as one of the first countries.
  • Day 12 - 2nd December 2007
  • frsd is elected as the first president of Austria.

Day 100 to 199

  • Day 102 - 2nd March 2008

Day 200 to 299

  • Day 203 - June 10th 2008
  • As a result, many real life Slovenians (which made up a large portion of the population of Austria) moved to the newly formed Slovenia. This in turn ruined the economy of Austria.

  • Day 443 - 5th February 2009
  • Day 444 - 6th February 2009
    Chicco becomes the 13th President of Austria on day 444.
  • Chicco is announced as the 13th president of Austria, his first term as president.
  • Day 465 - 27th February 2009
  • Day 466 - 28th February 2009
  • Day 468 - 2nd March 2009
  • Day 469 - 3rd March 2009

  • Day 502 - 5th April 2009
    Metallon becomes the 15th President of Austria on day 502.
  • The April Presidential election takes place, with Metallon running unopposed.
  • Day 503 - 6th April 2009
  • Metallon is announced as the 15th president of Austria, his first term as president.
  • Day 532 - 5th May 2009
  • The May Presidential election takes place, with incumbent Metallon being the only candidate.
  • Day 533 - 6th May 2009
  • Day 563 - 5th June 2009
    Lynari becomes the 16th President of Austria on day 563.
  • The June Presidential election takes place between Lynari, and Ivanlp.
  • Day 564 - 6th June 2009
  • Lynari is announced as the 16th president of Austria, his first term as president.
  • Day 593 - 5th July 2009
  • Day 594 - 6th July 2009

Day 600 to 699

  • Day 624 - 5th August 2009
  • The August Presidential election takes place between incumbent Lynari, and Miloslav.
  • Day 625 - 6th August 2009
  • Day 654 - 4th September 2009
  • Day 655 - 5th September 2009
  • The September Presidential election takes place between incumbent Lynari, and Metallon.
  • The resistance war in Burgenland returns the region to Austrian control.[2]
  • Day 656 - 6th September 2009
    Metallon becomes the 17th President of Austria on day 654.
  • Metallon is announced as the 16th president of Austria, his third term as president.
  • Day 659 - 8th September 2009
  • Day 660 - 9th September 2009
  • President Metallon states that while there is a free press, "if you join my cabinet you will obey my rules.. and that is no public attack on co-workers or washing dirty laundry in public." Tensions rise in the cabinet as both Minister of Justice Lynari and Minister of Immigration Nykoal nearly leave the cabinet. However, the issue is settled and the government remains together.[4]
  • Day 685 - 5th October 2009
  • The October Presidential election takes place between incumbent Metallon, and Rangeley.
  • 250 gold is donated to PEACE GC from the Austrian Central Bank in the final hour of the election without being noted publicly.
  • Day 686 - 6th October 2009
    Rangeley becomes the 18th President of Austria on day 686.
  • Rangeley is announced as the 18th president of Austria, his first term as president.
  • World War III - Austria officially withdraws from all offensive operations within PEACE GC, effectively ending Austrian involvement in the war.[5]
  • Day 695 - 15th October 2009
  • Controversy over the last minute donation of 250 gold late on October 5th emerges, as there was some dispute over whether it was before or after Metallon's term ended. The controversy was fueled further when a Secretary General of the alliance, Jazar, stated it would not matter when the donation was made.
  • Day 696 - 16th October 2009
  • Peace is signed between the nations of Flag-Austria.jpg Austria and Flag-Italy.jpg Italy. [6]
  • The "Mother Teresa Project," a weekly donation drive, is unveiled by the Austrian Government in an effort to raise money for the Austrian Red Cross. Through several fundraising drives, the cost of operation was able to be matched and surpassed.[7]
  • Day 697 - 17th October 2009
  • The donation controversy is settled when it was determined the donation occurred before Metallon's term ended.[8]

Day 700 to 799

  • Day 701 - 21st October 2009
  • President Rangeley calls on the country to reject the concept of wars of revenge. "Let's be Austria, the little country that was taken advantage of, and grew up into something better. Let's take a good look at what is wrong with the world, and try to fix it - not just accept it. Let's be different."[10]
  • Day 703 - 23rd October 2009
  • Austria and the Czech Republic sign the "Statement of Shared Principles," a non-binding agreement stating that both nations would respect each others sovereignty and use diplomatic means to settle disputes. [11]
  • Day 710 - 30th October 2009
  • An international games competition, known as "The Summit" is organized by Flag-Ireland.jpg Ireland and Flag-Austria.jpg Austria. Flag-Japan.jpg Japan, the Flag-Czech Republic.jpg Czech Republic, and Flag-Switzerland.jpg Switzerland additionally participated, with Ireland winning the most competitions.
  • Day 714 - 3rd October 2009
  • With the expiration of the PEACE GC wargames looming, Austria enters the Sol war-games for the first time.
  • Day 716 - 5th November 2009
  • The November Presidential election takes place between the incumbent Rangeley, and Querb.

  • Hedera becomes the 23rd President of Austria.
  • Day 844 - 13th March 2010
  • Hedera is found out to be a Polish PTO agent and steals all of the treasury, most companies and organizations.
  • Day 868 - 6th April 2010
    Stoneman becomes the 24th President of Austria on day 868.
  • Stoneman is announced as the 24th president of Austria, his first term as president.
    • Djani Ujkan Marich lost a total of 40 votes as a result of multiple accounts being banned, if they had not been banned then Djani Ujkan Marich would have been named president.
  • Day 888 - 26th April 2010
  • Day 891 - 29th April 2010
  • Day 892 - 30th April 2010
  • The Flag-Croatia.jpg Croatian takeover proposes a donation of the 21,000 HUF to one of their organizations. Breaking the deadlock, it is successfully transferred by a vote of 21-17.
  • Day 893 - May 1st 2010
  • The Flag-Croatia.jpg Croatian takeover proposes a donation of the 245 gold to one of their organizations. It passes again by a vote of 20-16.
  • Austrian spies infiltrate the takeover group, and find proof that Djani Ujkan Marich was a member. As a result, several parties withdrew their endorsement of him and instead nominated Rangeley.[13]
  • Day 895 - May 3rd 2010
  • The Flag-Croatia.jpg Croatian takeover proposes a donation of the 4,000 ATS to one of their organizations. It passes by a vote of 20-19.
  • Day 897 - 5th May 2010
  • The May Presidential election takes place between Rangeley, and Djani Ujkan Marich.

  • Day 898 - 6th May 2010
    Rangeley becomes the 25th President of Austria on day 898.

  • Day 903 - 11th May 2010
  • The Flag-Croatia.jpg Croatian takeover moves the previously stolen gold back into the Austrian treasury in order to issue it as currency. The Flag-Austria.jpg Austrian Government begins blocking proposals to prevent them from withdrawing the money again.
  • Day 904 - 12th May 2010
  • The Flag-Croatia.jpg Croatian takeover issues threats against the government to halt blocks, warning that taxes and the minimum wage would be raised if they were not allowed to steal as much as they desired. The Flag-Austria.jpg Austrian Government continues the blocks and initiates services to help citizens relocate if necessary while the laws are in effect.[16]

  • Congress members Tuna Cro and KLANC are banned, reducing the strength of the Flag-Croatia.jpg Croatian takeover in congress.

  • Flag-Poland.jpg Poland attacks both Styria and Burgenland, Flag-Austria.jpg Austria's only two regions at this time. Austria later retreats Styria to, enabling Flag-Germany.jpg Germany to open an attack on the region and begin to block Poland.
  • The Flag-Croatia.jpg Croatian takeover proposes a donation of 10,397 HRK to one of their organizations. For the first time since they initially seized power, it fails by a vote of 12-17. The blocking proposal protecting 41,513 ATS similarly passes for the first time by a vote of 14-12, placing this money into an official org.
  • Flag-Austria.jpg Austria gets Upper Austria back after a resistance war while Flag-Poland.jpg Poland conquers Burgenland.

  • Fragreg is announced as the 26th president of Austria, his first term as president.
  • Day 933 - 10th June 2010
