The Imperialist Party was a political party in United States of America. It is not to be confused with the United Imperialist Party, now known as the Socialist Freedom Party.

Platform

The main Platform of the Imperialist Party was, accordingly, Imperialism. Imperialism is the policy, practice, or advocacy of extending the power and dominion of a nation especially by direct territorial acquisitions or by gaining indirect control over the political or economic life of other areas; broadly and/or the extension or imposition of power, authority, or influence, union imperialism.

The Goal of eRepublik

It is well known that in eRepublik many citizens quit during the beginning stages of the game, mostly due to them finding eRepublik to be a boring simulation game. More straightforward, citizens want excitement and war. They want to go conquer foreign territory, this makes the game exciting. As important as diplomacy is, you know there was a bit of satisfaction when you saw a belt of bluish-purple stretching across China. Let’s be honest, if this game, in the end, is not about making your respective eCountry a dominant power, what is the point?

The Goal of the Imperialist Party

America is the greatest nation in the history of the world. At the Imperialist Party, we wish to see this realized through action. Although the IP is not completely gun-ho ready to charge into battle at any cost, we do believe that conquering territories is what must be done to show our power to the world and earn the respect America deserves. We are not afraid to protect, our country and are very patriotic.

The Imperialist Doesn’t Abandon His Allies

Obviously, we cannot take on the world by ourselves, and we have many allies that fought with us during the liberation of North American. If you ask me, though, whether I have some moral hindrance to taking some of Brazil, all of Mexico, and all of the UK, the answer is unequivocally NO. They are a threat to the US, and if it is possible to subjugate them, we should. We should help our Allies do the same in Europe and Asia.

Resources

By taking the other regions throughout the world we can gain the US priceless resources, and tons of gold. America always comes first, we must consider her above other nations. If we can better ourselves by eliminating a weak unimportant nation then why shouldn't we.

Hard Times Bring Greater Turnouts

The USA saw a major baby boom, more involvement, and better military organization when we were at our lowest point. When the PEACE alliance, the predecessor of Phoenix, occupied every state except Florida. If we endeavor to conquer regions and we in turn are conquered, it is a win/win situation. The motivation to liberate the US homeland will precipitate stronger participation and we would emerge even more powerful.

Satisfaction in Life

While there would be a measure of satisfaction in remaining in our 51 territories, growing our businesses, writing and reading newspapers, and fighting in defense of our Allies or to free occupied Nations, the lingering knowledge that we might, with a little fortitude, see enemy territories blessed with the US government, urges the Imperialist Party to advocate for the Imperialist Cause. It is a moral obligation to provide good leadership to our wayward brothers in the UK. We believe that some are genuinely content to live a peaceful life, but for the majority, I believe we will not be fully satisfied until the whole world lives under the benevolent leadership of the US and her allies.
