Icon achievement Society Builder on.gif First Day in eRepublik

An important thing to know about eRepublik is that your ability to participate in society is contingent on the amount of experience points you have amassed. Here is an assembled list of things to do as a citizen of this world.

My Places

My places menu

My Places is the second option on the main menu. Your in-game locations can be found in the My Places drop-down menu.

Profile

This page can be easily accessed by clicking on your citizen name from the permanent profile review on the left side. On your profile page, you will find all the information about your citizen in eRepublik, divided into several categories.

Upload an avatar - Nobody likes to look at the default picture. This will help you make friends. Once you reach your profile page, click on the 'Edit profile' button Edit profile is available only for own profile. On the 'Edit profile' page you will see several information fields that can be updated, such as your citizen name, email address, nationality and birthday. The last section is the place where you will upload your avatar. Only .jpeg pictures are allowed to be uploaded.
Note: When you upload an avatar for the first time after registering, you receive 2 Experience points. Once you have edited your avatar you will receive a general information message: "You have successfully edited your profile".

Icon achievement Super Soldier on.gif Army

To serve your country, or as a mercenary in another, you must train to build up your strength. You can reach the ‘Train’ page from 'My places' tab in the menu, clicking the 'Army' link.

Join The Army/Train - This is the way you build the strength necessary to defend your country. If you train long and hard enough, you could eventually join the Army or the Marines.

Training Rules

  • Citizens can train only after reaching Experience Level 2.
  • Citizens can only train once per day. If you have already trained on a certain day you will see the following message: "You already trained today. You can train again tomorrow (eRepublik time)".
  • Training will increase your strength and decrease your wellness by 1 point.

Market

Market drop-down menu.

Market is the third option on the main menu. Click Market to view the various markets in eRepublik.

Market Place

Users will select Marketplace from the Market menu to purchase both manufactured goods and raw materials.

Buy Food - Food increases the citizen's wellness. Food, like all products, are purchased in the marketplace.

On this page you have three filters:

  • Product/industry [you select food as a product]
  • Quality level [you can choose one of the five quality levels]
  • Market [selection of all eRepublik countries, however your citizen's country is the default]

Remember that you cannot buy food if you have no money, therefore you need to have revenue.

Once a day the highest quality food unit from your inventory is automatically consumed and you receive 1 Experience points. If your food stock is empty, you will be warned via an in-game alerts that you have to buy food, so make sure that you do not run out of food, otherwise your wellness level will decrease by a certain amount each day. When you eat food, your wellness increases by x amount (x representing the quality of your food).

When your wellness reaches 0, your eRepublik citizen will soon die. The main consequence of this is that the history of the New World will be written without your involvement. You will be informed the next time you log into your account and you will then have the opportunity to restart your life in eRepublik using the "Revive” button.

Job Market

The Job Market screen displays the available jobs for your country.

Get a job - Just like in real life, your survival depends on your ability to buy the resources that are necessary for living in this world. It is the most important thing for you to do when you first start off.

The first step is to visit the Job market. Here you will be able to browse through all the job offers posted by companies in eRepublik and pick the one that fits you best.

In order to view the list of offers you will use the “ Browsing selects “ (appears in the upper side next to your avatar picture and your skills in all 3 domains) through the following filters:

  • Domain
  • Skill level (Skill 0 as default)
  • Country

This page will list the job offers (arranged by the offered salary first) as follows:

  • Company (Avatar, Name),
  • Industry,
  • Minimum skill level required,
  • Offered Salary,
  • Apply [link].

In order to get a job, you have to press the 'Apply' button.
When your citizen becomes employee for the first time it receives 5 Experience points.

Note: that you cannot get a job in a different country than the one you live in, if you own a company, or if you are already an employee.

You are NOT allowed to resign your position before 72 hours from the moment you were hired, unless:

  • the company hasn't got the necessary amount of money in the accounts to pay your salary;
  • the company has 0 Raw Materials in stock.

When you are hired, the Company Manager cannot lower your salary for 3 days.

Work

Work page can be accessed by accessing the Company link from "My places" tab in the main menu.

In order for an employee to work, the company must have enough money to pay him and enough raw materials to produce goods (for product companies).

An employee is able to work by simply pressing the “Work”, after which:
- productivity is added in the product queue, products are being created when units are completed;
- you will receive your daily salary;
- you will receive one Experience Point.

A certain value (equal to the quality of the company) of wellness is lost every time you work.

If your wellness is below the quality level of the company, you will not be allowed to work.

For every 30 days in-a-row worked, you will achieve an Hard worker medal.
