The International Institute for Political and Economic Research was founded in London, UK on 24 August 2009 by Director Chris Stanwick. After negotiations with British Prime Minister Hassan Pesaran, the IIPER was hosted on the UK forum. The Institute was structured into two divisions, Political Research and Economic Research, and was governed by the Board of Trustees. As an international organization, the IIPER did not answer to any national government or supranational alliance, and provided information to any government or organization despite alignment.
