The Jerusalem District is the current capital of Israel. It became part of Turkey as a result of the Turkey-Israel War, but was regained in Operation Turkish Delight. Jerusalem has changed governmental hands numerous times since its original re-enstatement as the Jewish Capitol in numerous wars with Turkey.
