John Killah

John Killah is a citizen from the 
United States. American since birth, he has gradually worked his way into the social aspects of the game. He is currently serving as a Private in the eUS Military's National Guard, his original home. In his past he had served as a Division CO for them, a Private in the Ultramarines, and Quartermaster General for SWAT. He has a sibling - Ghost Killah.
In politics, John is not serving officially in any political position in the Legislative and Executive Branches of the Government, and is the King and Lord Protectorate of the American Military Party having briefly retired in 2013, before returning to the scene a couple of months later when he realised he couldn't stop being involved with the party and that the situation which caused his retirement had resolved itself.
Political Life
National Level - Party Poltics
From the moment he was eborn, John went into the USWP under the instruction of Haliman, and remained there as a non-commited member until AMP was formed. Seeing the focus of AMP, John left the USWP to be with like-minded people ... although he remained a non-commited member. This changed when in August 2011, Party Preisdent Kria Erikson approached him with a proposition - To keep the seat of the AWP (Who merged with AMP, though the party was still technically in the game) Party Presidency safe. John accepted this and ran for PP of AWP, winning his first term as a party president, although he did nothing. The same thing happened again on September, although a 3rd term was not on the cards as Kria wished to retire to the PP of AWP position, which John was more then happy to step aside for.
But it seemed he wasn't to be let out of the party's politics yet. A couple of days before the PP Elections, Haliman approached John and asked him if he was willing to be Deputy PAC Director underneath him. Although having no experience, John saw this as a chance to see how the party worked and accepted Halimans invitation ... marking his first steps into true party politics. Immediately after the PP Elections, John began to learn how the role of PAC was performed and how congress hopefuls were placed etc, and John began to get a taste for PAC. Although the deputy, John hardly recieved work, and his only true use was during congress elections when he helped man the Mobile Voting room to shepard people to the places they needed to be.
Afterwards, Hali contacted him saying that he wouldn't be running PAC next month and that he had contacted the PP about it. After CP Elections, the next thing John knew, Israel Stevens messaged him before the Party Presidential elections, asking if he would like to be PAC Director. John was slightly hesitant, wondering how he'd manage consider he hadn't really done much other then move mobile voters. However, he accepted and after Israel was confirmed as Party President, was set to task of assigning candidates for congress. Unlike last month, it was to be harder considering the majority of the United States was under occupation. However, with the help of Israel Stevens and Haliman, the candidates were placed and the AMP walked out of congress elections with a joint number of seats with the USWP, a feat that John was proud of. The following PP Elections rolled in with Cleveland Fleman offering John a 2nd Term as PAC Director, and having tasted PAC Fully, John accepted and immediately set to work sorting out candidates to run in a now Full United States.
Problem was, Congress Elections fell on Christmas Day ... this combined with a number of other factors led to a poor AMP performance in which they lost seats. Seeing as it was his department, John was both saddened and angry, blaming himself for the congress loss. However, the party accepted the loss and moved on, determined to do a better job next month. The benefit of the loss however made him re-evaluate PAC and led to a number of changes from both John and PP Cleveland Fleman. Finally, a few days before the PP primary was held in the AMP Forums, Cleveland offered John the position of Chief of Staff, although John didn't reply and accept till later on that day having had to go eat.
He spent most of his first term as the acting Party President with Cleveland having some RL time issues. He tried to toe a fine line between getting the better of people and being horrible to motivate them, and in some regards, it paid off. It led to his rehiring as Chief of Staff when Jack Mensley, his fellow guardsman, became PP. This was to be his last term as CoS, as he agreed to step aside for Haliman to return to AMP in an operational capacity he was confortable in. In return, David Wilson offered him Deputy CoS, which he agreed, until a couple of days later when David offered him Retention Director, since the previous director had to resign and David felt his talent was being wasted in deputy status.
After that term was up, John was passed over for 2 consecutive AMP Cabinets, although he had no qualms by remaining in leadership as an Honourary Round Table Member. That was until the June PP Elections, where the members overwhelmingly backed John's bid for the top spot, which he then went on to win. For the next two months, John reigned as AMP's Party President, bringing mixed results with what can be coined as a great first term, and an extremely lacklustre second term that left the party with deep divisions over some of the actions he had taken.
Upon his stepping down, he considered what to do next and decided to stay as HRT for a little bit to allow himself to avoid burn out fatigue. This only lasted a month until Cerb asked him to be his PAC Director in order to keep a stable PAC Department and to train someone new. John accepted and was unfortunate in the fact his department became almost useless with the new congress changes. However, he did succeed in training a new PAC person, and finally was able to retire to HRT in peace.
Since then, he has been elevated to the position of AMP Protectorate - A position that has no actual power over the party and serves as more of a buffer against rogue persons. The position entails the incorporation of John into IRC Channel adminship of the major AMP Channels, as well as Forum Admin on the AMP's forums. The peace of his position came crashing down in May 2013 when the elected Party President, Free Area, revealed himself to be a Serbian Sleeper PTO and that effective immediately, his home had been taken over by the enemy. Feeling reinvigorated, John was elected Interim Metagame Party President by the Round Table (Effectively marking his 3rd Term as Party President), and worked towards keeping the party together after an earthshattering revelation. During this time, he made plans to run officially for Party President and with the help of ATO Efforts throughout the country, managed to defeat Free Area's attempt to retain the party, becoming the Joint-Longest Reigning Party President of the AMP at 4 Terms at the time.
However, sadly only a few days into his Party Presidency, John felt that the atmosphere in the country and party was too charge with negativity and toxicity that he could no longer stand it. The day after this realisation, he resigned from all politics, effectively marking an end to a 20 month active leadership role and a chapter in the AMP's history. However, it would appear that some things go too well together and by the end of August 2013, he announced he was returning part time to the Party Political scene in order to help out his beloved party. Returning to a minimal role as an adviser, John gradually began to increase his workload until October, when he returned full time with a vengeance. It was during this term he served his 3rd term as Chief of Staff under Paul Proteus and tried his best to rescue a quickly floundering party outlook due to successive inactive Party Presidents.
He remained as Chief of Staff during the next 2 terms of Malarkey's Administration and was pleasantly surprised to find AMP finally had a competent PP at the helm once more and that the party was experiencing a surging revival in its fortunes. Following the end of these terms, John returned to being an adviser while working behind the scenes with much of leadership to ensure the term was going smoothly, only to once again return to the forefront for his 6th Term as Chief of Staff when a long-term friend and preeminent former Party President David Wilson returned and ask him to run with him. The term was one of great progress within the party and John felt himself reinvigorated for the challenges ahead of him.
National Level - Executive
John has originally served in Executive Branch once, during February 2012, in which he served as a National Security Council Deputy under Oblige. After that month was up, he wasn't called up again until May 2012, when Vice President Israel Stevens informed him that there was an opening in the cabinet for Secretary of Media, which John accepted. The following month however, he was relieved of the post in favor of CivilAnarchy.
Following his dismissal, he worked with his party until he became the Chief of Staff under Evry in July 2012. After the term had ended however, he felt that it hadn't been a great experience. From there, he was not brought into the cabinet until September 2012 when Israel Stevens, disappointed in his Secretary of Media choice allowed an idea from George Armstrong Custer and CivilAnarchy to proceed, which led to the "Media Revolution" in which the two of them, plus John returned as Co-Secretary of Media's, due to their previous experience in the job and to provide a stable publishing roster due to the effects of burn out.
After that, he served as Cerb's Deputy Secretary of State in November 2012, and Inwegen's Chief of Staff in December 2012 after losing his own Presidential run against him. He found himself as fingerguns Running Mate (Vice President) during her run in January 2013, where his main role was in trying to keep communication with the public open over what had been happening in the government.
He than ran for President a second time, this time against Jason Statham Jr from the same party (AMP)for the Unity Vote, and then against Candor (Backed by the PTO Group attempting to takeover the US) in Ingame election. Due to winning the Unity Vote, he won by a margin of around 700. Despite winning one of the most important positions in the game, John felt his term in office wasn't very good due to bad decisions and activity issues due to real life. After leaving the office of President, John has not provided any insight or advice to successive governments and feels that is fine.
National Level - Legislative
Since 25th February, John has served in the 51st and 52nd Congress as the Congressman for Texas. His more noticeable contribution would be the divisive topic and vote on the Impeachement of Oblige. After losing his bid for a 3rd consecutive term to a PTOer, John stayed away from congress until changes to game mechanics meant he was the 7th Congressman elected from the AMP under Cerb's Term and for the 58th Congress. During this month, he run for, and won the primary to be Speaker of the House. He repeated this achievement the next month in the 59th Congress. However, upon returning for the 60th Congress, he was unable to run for the position a 3rd time due to his running for President.
Since then, he has served a further two terms, although has not participated in anything hugely important during them terms.
