joseph kalinin was a citizen of Turkey. He was born in Marmara region of Turkey in day 489 of the New World.
He started his life as a worker in the factories of Marmara. While working in the factory, he realized the unjust ways of life and joined an illegal socialist movement. He used to run the newspaper G E L E N E K. Following the illegalization of the paper, he founded another newspaper under the name of -Granma-.
Political Life
Kalinin, after joining the socialists worked hard and developed itself with Marxist-Leninist theory. He, then, joined the political party Demokratik Halk Cephesi (People's Democratic Front). He made his way with his political and theoretical knowledge. He became the president of the party and served for 2 terms.
After having a split in the party, he founded the Socialist Workers' Party. During the Greek-Turkish war, him and his friends are called to be traitors. He could not stand the pressure thus left the country. After some time, he came back and established the Communist Party of Turkey, which did not lived for long.
Following that, he became once again the party president of DHC. Also he hosted a political radio program at Hewal Radio.
Once again, he left the country for more fun and found himself in United Kingdom after traveling half of the world. He joined People's Communist Party there and found himself in the parliament, speaking about the needs of the working class. Serving one term in the congress, he, then, returned to the place where he was born and tried to do good for his nation.
